  4. ive never heard of this before. i can see the way the people make the money but it all seems too good to be true. lol
  5. mines a 2000/x 600srad changed a bit since that pic. got a new undertray on it now. havent riden it in absolutely ages. probably over 2 years ago!!! and this is the little one!!
  6. haha. they will be off in no time if u actually put ur head on the headrest. and people will just think ur sad with a lexus sticker on the back of ur head till u realise!! haha
  7. yeah hope all goes well. and give me a pm when ur open for bookings. i cant really use my car till uve sorted it out and i dont want to take it elsewhere so im pretty desperate to get it in there!! can i be ur first booking please? ;) any day of the week now as im that desperate to get the car back on the road!! let me know and il book the day off work!! plus the place would look alot better will some cool signs!! u know im the man for the job!! ;)
  8. i havent got a close up shot but i done mine too. i also noticed from the other photo's that u guys havent taken off the ridge on the front. i got the dremel on mine and smoothed them all over so there arent any ridges or sharpe edges. was very easy but took a little more time. i bought the red heatproof paint from halfords that cost £7. i got all four calipers from one tin. but a friend of mine just uses standard paint, not heat proof. he's look fine and he does lots of heavy breaking so the heat gets into them. i might do mine again and use normal paint then laquer them too cos there not the shinyest they could be and there a little hard to clean sometimes.
  9. ul like this one!! was yellow and painted it myself. lol
  10. could u take the doors off and fix in a panel at the front of the recess and then get a wall bracket and mount the tv to the board?
  11. yeah i had the recess filled too, plastic welded then painted. havent got the plate where it is in the pic ive got it in front of the lower part of the bumper below the bigger recess.
  12. well i have d2 coilovers and i reckon there ok. yeah there very stiff and do bottom out every so often on big potholes but they are coilovers so there not going to be as forgiving as shocks and springs. but u wont get the adjustment and as good handling from shock absorbers. id love a set of the calipers and discs but a bit out of my price range really.
  13. just out of intrest will these fit my is200? there half the price of the ones in the link u posted. also could u use the hid kit in the fog lights too? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-CONVERSION...1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. to be honest i had only seen them in the autoart catalougue but didnt know the price. i got mine for £15 off of ebay. it doesnt take long really. just mask the windows up and the lights and ur nearly there. ul find it really easy.
  15. im the worst when it came to patience. i kinda rushed all the jobs but it came out pretty well. alot better than the pics show. im going to mount it on the parcel shelf of mine.
  16. well a couple of months ago i bought a model altezza in yellow off of ebay. finally got round to finishing it this weekend. painted the body in black and the front lights. all the shuts and boot and bonnet underneath. caliper painted in red and the front grill cut out. cut the reg that appears on my car also painted the wheels in anthracite. the only thing different to my car is that its a bit higher!!! lol heres a few pics
  17. havent been on the site for a while and just seen this. cheers guys for the praise. always good to hear of a happy customer :) glad u was happy with the stickers. found anywhere to put the other ones i sent? if anyone else needs any other graphics then just give me a shout. i do full vehicle signwriting but not sure if i can for alot of u due to the distance
  18. yeah i thought it was a bit wierd at first! rather it just be hot all the time
  19. its an encapuslated postscript file. thats what files my sign maching works in! if u need any help then email them over to me and il convert them for u!
  20. how do u mean u cant do any logo? yeah its not a squirt it on and ur done. ur right it does take a bit of skill.
  21. i got clears on mine. i reckon they look good but im wanting to find my red ones to put back in as i reckon it will suit my car better with the painted lights i have. too many different colours on the back of my car and want to smooth it out a bit and make less colours.
  22. yeah its only a doming liquid!! theres a place near me that sells it! just syringe it on and let it set!! they will probably charge u a bomb cos they think the average joe in the street will think its real expensive and special to do! there not the only company that does it, most sign companys will if u ask! il find out from my local trade supplier how much they charge for the materials and i can cut what ever sticker u like and u can have a go doing it urself if u want? its not a new product and i spoke to the guy at the show briefly and he didnt like it that i knew about it. im not 100% but i dont think that guy invented it like he said he did! i think that was just to big himself up. its a special liquid that finds the edges of the vinyl and with the correct ammount of liquid it wont fall over the edge! then set to a rubbery finish!
  23. yeah thats a wicked one. i heard it last year sometime!
