  1. u dont have to remove the rear seats. just take the headrests out and pull the front of the parcel shelf up.then slide towards u. thats what i did, i used to think u had to take the seats out but didnt have to when i done my rear speakers!!
  2. if ur worried about the back end coming out then keep the traction contol on. it wont stop it fully but it will help. but yeah id say get in a car park or suchlike and get the back end out. its good to have a practice, just incase it does creep out on ya without u expecting it. personally tho i wouldnt say the IS is quick. there quite an underpowered car i think. ive got the slowest car by far out of all my friends. but its not all about speed. im the only one who's car will drift!!
  3. cheers. i must admit i do have it up loud all the time. just thats how ive always had it and i just wonder why things are starting to overheat now. going to install everything a bit neater so going to get some fans in there. maybe that might help.
  4. hey. i had an alpine v12 t757 amp running a very large output sub (ground zero) its worked fine up till a week or so ago. but then it suddenly just cut out. to feel the amp it was extremely hot but the speaker amp was very cool to touch. after further inspection the sub was also knackered aswell. i guess it was the sub that killed it because the sub was still playing minutes before it cut out but really really badly. suspect its the coil that is gone because its now really hard to push the cone in and out!! lots of dragging noises. so after that i put another v12 in and a kenwood sub (lower powered sub and lower powered amp) but now it has started to cut out after a while. just wondering why things have started to overheat. ive had this v12 in the car before and it was fine. didnt cut out at all. just cant understand why its doing it now. ive bought another t757 v12 to replace the old one but dont want to put this in as i dont want to ruin that aswell. also dont know why the speaker amp is cool but the sub amp gets way too hot! i have the sub amp mounted flat on top of the sub box and the speaker amp is mounted at a 45 on the side of the box. cheers guys
  5. that would be quite handy if u could get new lenses as mine are in pretty bad shape!!
  6. yeah mine failed for having a snapped wheel stud!! pretty easy to do.
  7. but isnt that what a factory sport has anyway?!
  8. i was with adrian flux and they wasnt too bad. they wasnt great when i came to renewal time cos id had a claim but they paid out no probs!! they covered all the mods. but if ur trying to insure a car with tinted windows on the front they probably wont pay out a claim if they are illegal!!!
  9. u flashed the fogs. just wondering if it was someone here?
  10. the sub relys on a back pressure i think, so if the cubic capacity is too small or too large then i guess the sub will be working incorrectly and burn the coils out. am i right?
  11. just copied and pasted that to a mate on msn. lol he fell for it. very funny!!
  12. i cant seem to find them on ebay. how do they sound?

  17. a friend of mine orders all his tools from the u.s. the website he uses is maxtool.com they are seriously cheap. i will be ordering some tools from there when i get the cash. he does get charged the import duty but they still work out alot cheaper than buying in the uk.

  19. it looks like the honda s2000 start button. they sell them on ebay. the original one cost around £50 i think
  20. cheers guys for the comments. uve certainly gee'd me up on this one. :) havent heard back as yet, i doubt i will to be honest. so il give her till tommorow evening and then start with getting a refund. the thing im worried about is her leaving me bad feedback. i had an issue before when a guy won a go kart off me and he never bothered to come and buy it. and he left me bad feedback saying i stole his money!!! i couldnt believe it. i wish i had the chance to steal his money after he said that!!!
