  1. :excl: I tried to buy the PFC #414AT010 for the turbo set up off JPS on ebay. Stay Well clear :tsktsk: . He is advertising as '3 available'. Once he had recieved my cash it took him 2 months to tell me that Apexi had administration issues and that he couldnt give me any definate time as to how long it would take. Giving it the usual it will be here next week. This went on for about 12 weeks. If they werent so hard to come by I would have cut my losses before then, his only saving grace is that he did infact offer me a full refund. But is still advertising as '3 available' as you read this!! :angry:

    However, there was another one on ebay which I paid for and recieved within the week from Japan. This one is infact the 414AT006. This is for N/A Altezza. I have had it fitted but obviously with the increase in the volume in air from the turbo the PFC wants to shut itself down as soon the boost kicks in.

    My Tuner (Calder Imports 'CRD') says that it requires a Map Sensor and Loom for the turbo application. As far as i can make out this is the 'Optional' Boost Control kit for the PFC. Which is apparently not available for the 414AT006. There is one for the SW20 and the 3sGTE celica. Would this work, as effectively I now have a 3sGTE???

    Other than this could an OEM Map sensor replace the current MAF sensor and integrate with the PFC or do I need to cut my losses and keep trying to source a 414AT010.

    Any ideas people?

    Well its still the 3S-Ge you have, i dont think adding a turbo makes it the same as the 3s-gte which i think is the engine in the celica or MR2. you could sell ur N/A power fc to me and get another turbo version one from nengun.com

  2. Just a quick question for the audio guru's, Thinking of re-wiring my amplifiers. At the moment i have 1 power cabling per amp coming from the Battery and 1 seperate grounding point per amp, and a shared remote amp wire. can i use just one power cable for 2 amps and them just branch off the power in the boot with a distributor block. can i do the same with the grounding wires? Have the earth cable from each amp going onto into a distributor block then to one grounding point on the chassis?

    Also I've had a power cap stilling in the shed for about a year, are the worth using? If so are they easy to hook up.

  3. Trying to catch hold of me at the minute is vvvvv difficult otherwise id say just thrash round!...... Are you desperate to do them? Im going to be doing my discs soon...

    After how many miles should the disk be changed approx??? Think mine are due for a change , lots of vibration at times!

  4. i just came back from Germany today, i thought i would try some Different dampening settings on the front coilovers(D2). as i was adjusting the drivers side dampening a clear oil-like fluid started coming out of the top of the coilover from the hole where you stick the tool that adjusts the dampening is this normal? OR does it mean my coilver is kaputt? Im going back to the place i bought them from on Monday to get them checked out.

  5. Hi lads just curious if anyone has seen/heard from Lee_iceman recently? i know he has his sisters wedding there recently but think that was nearly 2 weeks ago. Sent him a few Pm's and no response. Just trying to buy some stuff off him he advertised in the for sale section. I have his mobile number but would prefer not to ring him over something silly incase somethings up!

    I had a look at mine again after reading this and my passenger seat is not a stright plug in as this guide says. Got a bit more info on the wires though. Going to have a go tonight. Might be a problem driving home though as I have fitted the drivers side and it is tilted right back. Can't move it without power!

  7. Would getting an ECU chip installed make a big diff.. ?

    Thats what im planning on doing, some people say it will add 30-40bhp, others say it will be minimal gains. Dont think anyone on here has done it to a normally aspirated Altezza yet. Im just trying to find somewhere thats reliable place to tune it in, as i will try and get mine mapped to the 104Ron biofuel that im using
