  1. mines on 120'000, has never missed a beat and since ive owned the car ive only had 1 coil pack go on me and nothing else. i even drove the car on 5 cylinders from essex to stone henge way to pick up another coil pack from monster matt.
  2. im getting very low mile, about 250 to the tank, have been bombign around country lanes alot, with 4 up subs and 18's......
  3. yea thats the one, sorry i left out the link, ive been ill so drugged up on parcetemols and im not really with it :P so will this fir my 2000 is200? or will i need to get an earlier version? stav, am i thinking i will need to cut my old cat off to use your centre pipe? so that would mean i couldn't bolt the cat back on for an mot, or will i still be able to do it? cheers
  4. ok, well dont look like anyone agreed on anything, but i was told it means Luxury EXport to United States..
  5. hmmm i just found this on ebay... will this bolt straight on? be handy as can put the cat back for when going for an mot etc.
  6. ive just been told what it originally stood for... but does anyone else know?
  7. i have the hoop spoiler with the light in it, i wired it up to the centre light in the rear window, it works fine but when i removed the bulb from the rear window light i get the brake warnign light come up on the dash, so either i have 2 rear centre lights or have to put up with the brake waning light on all the time...
  8. www.mytextcheck.com only costs £3 and brings back to deatils if its stolen... its normally about £30 for the rac 1 i thought? you only need to do the 1 and not all of them???
  9. oh the 1 on top of the dash... i dont have that 1 i have a sat nav, very cool :zee: the other 1 hodls my mobile usually
  10. what makes you say that??? i found my lex to be very realible considering the bashing i give it
  11. Ive got 119'000 on the is200, i bought it with around 70k i think my toyota hilux has 179'000 and its still going strong
  12. loads i got about 40 with the warning light on, not recommended though, i usually get around 320 - 380 miles out of tank, and i find driving it hard dont make a huge difference unless your sitting over 100 everywhere, that tends to use alot of fuel up most i ever got was a motor way run got about 450 which was good for me lol and most of it was sitting at around 80
  13. this is dropped about 80mm... on a set of 18's rubs only on full lock but handles well
  14. just use a t-cut and then a polish, worked really well on mine
  15. dont get pirelli's!!! in the wet they slide out everywhere
  16. ahh mine has the same problem where i tried to glue my number plate on cos got annoyed with it kept falling off... the super glue remover did you get it from halfords? any idea what it was called? cheers
  17. i think i payed £70 and fitted it myself
  18. i love a bit of sideways action, although your uprated anti roll bars might cause it to slide more??? maybe just need to get it set up differently, im running d2 fully adjustable shocks, lowered onto the arches and i can chuck it around round abouts at 60, just on ****ty budget tyres aswell. but ive had it set up soe the camber is in, wears the insides out quickly but grips so well. and can still get the arse end out when i want too :P
  19. steam cleaning is the best way mate, but always a good idea to spray the bay with something like wd40 afterwards (ie pipes wires etc)
  20. i have the same problem, my tax is due today... tried several times to get tax online with no luck phoned my insurance 2 days ago also and they confirmed my new plate etc...
  21. its not the best car on mpg, i get around 21mpg but my rigth foot has lead in it.. parts aint cheap but the is200 is vgery relible, apart from servicing in a year and a half ive only ever changed 1 bulb and 1 coilpack... i love this car, bites me in the arse for fuel, but its so smooth and looks so good, i could just drive it all the time. i hope you make the right desicion mate ;) you wont regret it
