Seen these on ebay anyone know anything about them? I assume they will fit an IS200 just the same i think they look rather cool... Angel eyes on Ebay,com

If you press on the display does the missing info come back? if so it sounds like it could do with a quick dismantle and a clean on the contacts from the circuit board to the lcd , I use isopropanol (tape head cleaner) on a cotton bud to clean things like this hope its of some help.

My previous car was a Peugeot 306 D Turbo what a load of cack that turned out to be, anyway the car I almost signed my soul to the devil for was a Delorean Ive always been fascinated by them but I just could not find a decent right hand drive model. Then the Lexus came along and the rest is history. I made the right choice with the Is200 :)

Hell Yeah I'll be watching, I'll admit to being quite a fan of Jacko back in the day when he was his natural colour. I even saw him in concert! I wonder if he owns a Lexus? Woooooooo whos bad!!!

I had the same problem but it was all NTL'S fault for me! most of their servers were down. :( they tempt you in with a flashy 1 meg connection then it all goes pear shaped, come back BT-Brokenworld all is forgiven!!

My Car is almost due for its 60,000 mile service , Looks like ********** Lexus isnt playing ball with the gold club discount :( gonna have to go elsewhere, but anyway.... What do they actually do to the car to make it the most expensive service? many thanks Brett

it could be condensation on the lens which is a very common problem with all optical devices and also if your a smoker the nicotine builds up on the lens and obscures the laser. just a thought

By Lens are you refering to projector type headlights? or do you mean the silver reflectors and plastic covers as on the IS200? Brett -

here is a link to the guy who's selling them on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=1874202489 as far as I can tell from my 2 years of Japanese language lol they are 55 watts but the light output is rated to that of an 80watt halogen bulb, been running them for an hour + and the light housing seems warm to the touch but not melting hot. I'll keep an eye on the heat. Brett -
Hi Group Ive just installed a set of these (the bulb on the left is one of the Philips Blue Vision lights for comparison) Here is a better view of the bulbs They seem alot whiter and more like the HID look I was after more than the Philips bulbs. These pics are not as good as how the lights look in the flesh but just for you all to see. here is the new Plazma Xenon bulb. and here is the Philips Blue Vision Bulb. I got them from Ebay.com and they cost with shipping $26.99 and came in 4 days.... Brett

Thanks guys :) I have found that out about the Park, was rolling slightly and then bam! dead stop, everything seems to be fine tho thank ***!! What do you think to the microwave reverse sensors? was going to get some drill thru ones but no drilling sounds better and they seem to be cheaper!! Brett -
Hi all Since getting my IS200 SE AUTO about a month ago ive been trying to work out what the different letters and numbers do on the Automatic box, Ive looked in the manual and it goes on about engine breaking etc but should I only be using the D for all driving unless im going down a mountain or towing a caravan? Prolly a Silly question I know Brett

The Autotoys harness in that pic will not fit the Lexus loom it's a different connector, the scoshe one looks right but isnt right either as mine came today but has the wrong number of pins and size of pins to fit :( Looks like all you can do is to cut off the lexus plug and wire your own.. Brett

Hi Group Im really wanting to get MD into my IS200 Ive had a scary quote of £600.00 for the Lexus supplied MD changer, Not really looking to spend that much, Looked at new head unit and it's looking to be a nightmare :(. dont suppose anyone has a Lexus MD changer for sale?. Or on the other hand Does anyone know of an RF MD changer? I can find plenty of CD RF Changer unit's but nothing with MD. Or perhaps a 2nd head unit could be wired into the line in of the Lexus headunit's MD/NAV input?? is there any wiring diagrams for this connector?? many thanks to all Brett

I have just ordered a wiring harness from these guys http://www.sfxaudio.com/products/installse...IS300&Year=2001 too bad I had already ordered my fascia from autotoys with a huge excess of postage charges :( neither have come yet so I cannot pass comment but I dont think it's going to be as easy as popping on the harness to use my MD headunit will let you know when I try it out Brett
