  1. is it the same as the noise it makes when you leave your lights on with the engine off?
  2. RYX have you had any problems with you HID'S? im very interested in doing this too is there any wire cutting or soldering involved or is it just a case of plugging in the new lamps and power inverters into the existing light connector? Brett
  3. I have a Question about these bulbs they come with an Orange O ring fitted and a black one loose in the box, I assume this is to keep the light box air tight? which is the correct one for the IS ?

  12. Now this sounds fantastic a Trip to Japan Hajimema****e Brett desu watashi mo nihon toyota kuruma desu hehe I knew Learning Japanese would come in handy one day :) (haha Guess I cannot introduce myself in Japanese without the auto censor kicking in hahah)
  13. Its a very slight high pitched hum and I doubt you would hear it unless you put your head on the scuff plates . nothing to worry about really I just added it for completeness
  14. Well Today I got my Scuff Plates from Lexus * £188.73 with Gold Discount :) Fitted them in around 30 mins and I have to say it's very easy to do but the TTE Instructions are not very good, Especially if you are not electrically minded. and the Connectors they supply are far too big for the wires they are connecting to :( . They do make a slight hum but thats normal as all EL lighting does that. Gotta say I cannot wait till it gets dark now to see them in their full Glory. If you wanted to change the colours it would be very easy as all you would need is an EL Light strip in what ever colour you want it in. * reference to gold discounting dealer removed

  18. Bt offer Satalite access now but it's far from cheap and another company offers a 2meg download from sat for 25 quid a month but you need to pay a 600 quid setup fee and still use a dial up modem to request sites etc (bt's is 2 way sat) there is also tele2.co.uk but i dont know much about them
  19. sounds good Im in Leeds its self and we have matching cars lol
  20. Hi Simon Im on NTL Broadband after having been on BT for 2 years NTL offer a 1meg connection for only £5.00 more than BT and there seems to be alot less downtime on NTL than BT I also have it connected to a Netgear 614 net router and a net gear wireless access point connected to that and it works perfectly well in any part of the house even outside in the garden or half way down the street, sending data from one computer to another is a little slow compared to a cable but the net and anything to do with it is great on my wireless notebook also as cable is ethernet its alot easier to set up with routers etc than the standard USB modem you get from BT, also use's alot less resources on your pc than the USB setup Brett
