  1. Link isn't workin for me...? Someone suggested I buy my own plugs rather than getting Lexus to do them for me, but it looks like the price is the same either way
  2. its just my personal opinion, I dont like the prolex ones, how different are they in appearance to the depo ones? after a little searching I found this topic already on the forum: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=39631 Depo LED lights should work fine, without resistors
  3. I do believe you will need load resistors, otherwise your rear light warning light stays on in my opinion, the LED rear lights just don't look good...
  4. Yeh I thought the cambelt was more frequesnt than 10 years on an IS, can anyone else confirm this?
  5. either way, they all sheds now, lol
  6. I'm about to have my 60k service, i've only had the car 3 months, and i'm Still chasing up the service history from the dealer that I bought it off, the last Lexus service was at 40k and was in 2005, the car is a 2000 X I suspect from this information, the cambelt/timing belt wasn't done (sorry if i've used incorrect terminology there) and i'm sure the Sparks are due too the price at my local Lexus dealer for service alone is £225
  7. I've recently been to bolton, they told me £225, with or without CC Mines just coming upto 60k, i've been told this is new spark plug time, is there a way I can check to see if I can get another 10k out of the plugs? or are they cheap enough that I should get them changed at 60k?
  8. I thought the paseo was a not so popular little 2 door thing, obviously its a re badged toyota, but it looks like toyota's version of the old ES300.....?
  9. Where can I find more details of his offers? is there any links, or do I just ask him?
  10. 6 of us so far then, you think we can haggle for £125 per unit if bought together? I don't mind paying that much, thats a $600 discount off the full order though, so the more people who want one, the better....
  11. I'm definately after one too if the price is right...
  12. in terms of age, the point i was trying to make was how hard it is to find an earlier model that doesn't have light years on the clock
  13. If your budget allows for it, get as new as you can, for mileage reasons, us Lexus drivers like accumulating our miles, I've already done 3000 miles in 3 months, and I don't go anywhere really I think you need to be more specific in what you want to achieve from the car, so you can be properly advised
  14. Oh my *** I can't breathe.... Its only for resting my arm on!
  15. I guess i'm better keeping my eyes open at car breakers aren't I? how much does Lexus charge for one?
  16. So does anyone have a link to anywhere that sells arm rests (preferably not too expensive) to fit cream interior?...
  17. Sunday 29th is fine by me, I shall make mine shiny...
  18. I'm just waiting on the return of a Digital Camera (dropped it, i'm not really clumsy, just had a bad week) then I can get a couple of pics up
  19. When I bought my IS200 it already had a body kit on, although I think its a cheap one, and it appears to be bolted on :( anyway, I bouced my car off a bollard the other day, and when I cleaned it last, I noticed I'd split the rear skirt slightly, If I remove the kit, am I going to have some nasty holes in the bodywork?
  20. The Arm rest is only optional even on an auto, mines auto and I agree its far too low, i've been looking out for one for a while, with no luck
  21. Wooow, got a workin stereo now...
  22. Excellent, just need to install word, lol... I shall update in a couple of hours
  23. Just bought a replacement 13903 stereo from ebay which arrived today (sunday? whats with Royal mail these days?) can anyone tell me how to fit it?
  24. Stopped on my way home tonite and had a look at your LE grille, i've never noticed one before, its much nicer than the others i've seen, i'm gonna keep an eye out for one of those (don't mean to copy you, but it is nice) just fitted my grille now, took a couple of mins, thanks for the info, worked a treat...
