personally i'd rather have one that has only done 50k than 120k, but any lexus owner will tell you that these cars like to go forever, so yes a good service history by 120k would indicate the car has still plenty of life left in it I have an SE, but only because insurance was twice as much for me to get a sport, due to my lack of driving experience, If you can afford to get the Sport as opposed to the SE, get the Sport, since you are looking to buy a used one, you will find Sport models and SE models are pretty much the same price range check the wheels for corrosion if the mileage is high, clean them regularly to prevent further corrosion the cd player was changed around in 2000 as far as i'm aware, if not, late 99, mine's 2000 with the newer system, and every 99 i've seen has the older one, however mine wasn't working when I bought it, despite Lexus changing the stereos after 99, they hadn't fixed the common problems, I was lucky to find one on ebay for £100 that worked to replace mine (been fine since)

Twice within the last week my stereo has emmited 2 short beeps together, which interrupt the music for approximately half a second, the first time i'd been out in the car, and parked up, left the vehicle, and returned a couple of hours later, and when I set off, within a couple of minutes, the music went off and there were these 2 beeps, then the tunes continue the second time was today, again i'd been out, left the car for about 15 mins this time, then returned and drove away, and within a couple of minutes, the music went off, 2 beeps again, then the tunes continue any ideas?

I put my blue bulbs back in and my side lights aren't as bright as i'd like them to be, and now one of my main beams isn't working :( so i'm changing them all back, again, lol

I'm currently searching for part numbers myself

I have 2000X and mines only one flash when locking, thats normal, its 2 flashes when u unlock

Welcome, i'm due my 60k soon, I'll probably take it to Lexus and have the works done, it will help sell the car cos I want a newer one

yeh i thought so, I just did it again, so basically, if you unlock the car, and it autolocks, it also arms the alarm, hope thats cleared that up, as for the cheesecake, i'd be getting the wife to clean it up herself.... :P

I recently went on a drive, I locked the doors whilst driving cos I don't trust chavs, I arrived early and waited in the car for a bit, I took my keys out of my ignition and used the fob button to unlock the doors, after the 30 seconds it locked again, and within a minute i'd reached over my seat to grab my jacket and off went the alarm, I'll just do it again and see

I just put all mine back in, lol, i'll wait til it goes dark and see how they look...

yeh i'll save that little job for a not so rainy day, lol

I had the usual faulty changer issue with mine and it was out of warranty, I managed to get a working unit with an amp off ebay for £100 and fitted it myself thought it was worth bragging about :D

I guess I could be wrong...
