Well i do really want a turbo as i have a hankering for a dump valve and a bit more power but i really dont know if its all worth it bearing mind its an auto as i would then want to lower it and put some other bits on and i keep thinking is it better to just keep it as it and do things on the bike which i know goes like a rocket to start with! =S Is there anyone going thats got a turbo fitted to an IS200?? Would be good to have a nose under the bonet of that and see it run on the dyno! Cheers, Matt

cool cool looks like this is just down the road from me! Think it might be worth a trip as i get to meet a load of you guys and get to see some seriously awesome cars! Aslong as you dont mind a standard IS200 turning up! lol..........

I might be up for the meet but not the Dyno as i dont think i need to know my auto is slow! lol...... But to ask a stupid question (all abuse welcome) where abouts is it as im a possible but depends on travelling there etc! Cheers all, Matt

Apart from......................Pioneer havent yet released any of the X3's for sale as yet and there is going to be a launch sometime in November.........Well at least it gives me a bit of time to save and could always call it a christmas present to myself!!!! lol............... ........It annoys me when they advertise stuff you cant buy for a month or 2 as it spoils the fun!!! grrrrrrrr. lol....

Thats not bad and there is a store about 3 mins from where i work so that might be a buy it and get it fitted while i work! lol..... ....Well am partial to the fold out X3 as i like the way they hide away but the double din unit does look a bit more standard, think i might pop in to the shop when im on lunch tomorrow and have a look to see what they are like! =] And a facia kit and bypass lead shouldnt come to a hill of beans i'd imagine after about £1300 on the unit itself! lol......

Cheers mate your a star!!!! Im assuming then that to simply replace the head unit is not an easy task on mine?? Am i right in saying mine has the amp then or do all IS200's come with it? I have just seen that there is the AVIC-D3 which is all built in to a double din slot which looks quite nice as i am thinking about trying to keep it looking standard if you get me??!? I am just a bit concerned though as i have got the modding bug before from doing little bits then ended up spending thousands on a show car and dont want to do it to this! So if a new head unit means a new set of speakers or a load of bypasses then i might have to get a company to fit it for me or alternatively just get a tomtom for sat nav and be done with it! Hi all, Ive got a 2004 IS200 SE and i have been toying with the idea of getting one of these installed as i went and did something stupid.............I bought an IS200 without the sat nav and thought well......if i want sat nav why not a touch screen MP3 and dvd player as well! lol...... Has anyone got anything similar to this or even got one of these in there car to give any advice or thoughts on putting one of these in the car?!?!? Surely it would affect the handling of the car especially if your only fitting 2 tyres and not replacing all 4???

My mate's beemer normally has smoking brakes but thats because he likes to make the most of his stopping power! lol....... ......when i changed them on my Toyota Paseo it was a bit like that a bit but nothing to worry about, mine smelt a bit though when they were bedding in but went very quickly! =]

I use Meguiars Endurance High gloss Tyre Gel stuff makes a mess of your hands even when using an aplicator but looks the nuts and lasts quite a long time! ....and im sure the fairy liquid would bubble up and give you a nice white wall effect if nothing else! lol.......

Yeah mine likes to slip a bit i worried me when it first happens but you get used to the abusive traction control light! lol.

I had an IS200d yesterday when my IS200 SE went into Lexus Ipswich to have a few bits done and i couldnt belive that it was actually quite economic on fuel! Didnt like it as much as the 200 around town but on the dual carriage ways it was quite good!

I was always an auto hater till i drove an IS200 auto and i know own one! If you are after a car to relax in luxuary get the auto if you want to hack it about and mod the engine etc dont. Also think about the fuel of the two as the IS200 is a thirsty beast if you give it some and im sure the IS300 is worse! Sensible voice now going! lol

those rims are asanti!!! They are ober expensive and avaliable from the states!

Thats quite cheap compaired to the kits i put on my old cars as they were shipped from auz!!!! lol A kit for £600 without spray if full bumpers is dam cheap to be fair! Go for it! What kit you looking at??

lol, Well she started scraping at my paint telling me its only a scratch its only taken a bit of pain off!!!!! to be honest i didnt care that there was a scratch there was a dent in my door! lol!

hahahaha I take it i was quite lucky to find one with the kit and dark alloys then?? Are these rare then?? Or is the kit rare?? (I havent got a clue about LExus stuff yet!!lol!! =S)

Thats one thing that ive been really tempted to do but not sure whether it looks better with the stock grille or the sports one. I might be tempted to put one on in time i guess, i have heard they are only £36 painted and from Lexus. Is this true?

Cheers mate! Yeah i had to have the sports kit as a must as i still love all the modded cars after my two previous cars. I like the way the dark alloys look quite stealth on it too! So what you guys think i should do to it?? Little tweaks only tho as i dont fancy going too ott on it?
