  1. HELP!!! im really stuck now.. i have a good price for these with some falken fk452 tyres. only problem is i cantsee them befor buying em as they arent carried in stock and have to be specially ordered. I have been assured they will fit and wont rub at all even with the standard sport lowering. what do you guys think?? will they suit the car?? as for the original alloys, they are very corroded and decided if im goingto spend the mney fixin em i miht as weel upgrade to a bigger wheel.... thanks guys :duh: (very confused & frustrated yet excited to be finally picking up the car on wednesday!!)
  2. lexus nottingham also refused to sell me one. they have said if i bring a list of part numbers then they can help but without that its not listed as an aftermarket or standard part??
  3. The Harmon Kit is fantastic.. we sell a few different ipod stereo units at my work and this is by far the best... However, you are never going to get the best sound going throu the FM aerial, at best it will ony be as good as say radio 1 when you are right under a mast!! i would agree and say there is nothing better than chonging the stereo with there specific ipod leads and using the loom adaptor of ebay. There is a panasonic unit with ipod adaptor availiable for under £200 and it has a changable display to match that of the car. gonna set you back about £250 all in with a facis adaptor but will be a lot better and you can hind the ipod out of sight and controll it all of the Headunit.
  4. here are the fittings, 7.5Jx18 in Size 4x100/114 PCD - ET42 Offset 5x100/114 PCD - ET42 Offset quiet a few sites/shops say they will fit but what do you think??
  5. Im lookin at new rims and think i have come to a conclusion.. :duh: i like the Lenso RS5 18" in gunmetal http://swtyres.co.uk/wheels/lenso/rs5 whats your thoughts guys? all coments welcome...
  6. HI, not having had the opportunity to work on the car yet but i do know a little bass!! What you may need is a bandpass box pointing through the armrest after removing whatever is covering it up so u have a clear view through. The bandpass doesnt use the boot space like a ported box will and you should get all the air movement into the cabin. this is what i will be doing and has worked well on other cars with a similar design. The big diff on the lis200 is the bulkhead behind the rear seats stops most of the bass but this design should work. I will be doing something similar in a few weeks so wil let u all know how it works.. failing that its removing the bulkhead and strengthening the rear!
  7. hello fellow newbie, dont know if you have read the other posts but its not an easy job changing the oem stereo.. not the usual 'to shop and buy an adaptor lead jobbie!!'

  13. Hi All, I picking up my IS200 next saturday and want to be prepared to install my Stereo System. I will be putting in a kenwood head unit, 1 x amps for front, 1 x amp for sub, and replacing all stock speakers. i will also be installing a hands free kit. Will the sat nav still work and does it have its own speaker? If not are there any mods out there for this. Im pretty good at setting up car installs and have decent electrics knowledge and just from what i have seen so far it looks like its going to be a b**ch!! any help?

  15. Not sure Lexus did a an Auto Sport, dont think they did. You can buy the centre arm rest kits but they very expensive for what they are. hmmm.. i guess it is a padded centre console!! its a manual sport.. didnt like the idea of another auto but had sacrifice the cruise control! so the auto has a proper centre arm rest then?? any idea where a second hand one could be sourced?
