  9. Cool :) Blue reverse bulbs are fine, mine has passed for the last 4 yrs with them on :D
  10. The price for the c/belt change is expensive from Lexus so why not get them to do whats normaly done on the schedule and find another garage to do the c/belt at a cheaper price. I had mine done at 42k as it was 6yrs old (X 2000) from an independent garage c/belt/tensioner/aux belt and water pump for £180, i supplied all the parts which are cheap from Lexus. Labour rates are extortionate at the stealer dealer.
  11. That would only apply if the cars had (at some stage) a replacement screen, where the fuses are is there any signs of water penetration!! are the fuse holders rusted?

  16. Pays to ask questions on a forum such as this. With a diagnosed fault like this the average person would just go ahead and get the work done, in reality the dealers know this and how could you inspect that the faulty pistons were shot? Glad you got it sorted B)
  17. ...and live next door to a Petrol station? Having had 2 of the 3 listed, around town they are no worse than a V8. In town they auto switch to 6 cylinders ....clever Germans :D
