Try Adrian Flux they will go through NIG alot of the time got my car *with mods declared/ supercharger* for £1679 fully comp with 3 years and im 20 un modified they would do it for £1589. Was paying £1400 standard with churchill! I was just wondering if anyone kows if you can get head spacers for the lex, and if this will make much difference in performance with the charger. I was told it might make some difference in performance and allow me to run more boost on standard internals, but was unsure? Just wondering if any of you have done it or looked into it? When the charger is fitted i will be running it on 99 octane, is it best to get the car re-mapped to run on this? i ask cos my mates Evo was mapped on Vpower and seems to run sluggish when on 95?? Last of all, I believe the VVTi kicks in about 4000rpm? Can it be mapped to come in lower? eg 3000 rpm. Would there be any benifical performance gains by doing it? Cheers for any help, or just let me know if im making myself look stupid Tom.

Just have a look on the inside lips of the disk and you can use your own judgement on if you need new disks? Just remember if you do get new disks you need new pads too :P Just take your wheels off and rotate the disk untill you get the lip and have a look. some pics for reference! my disks came off after 30k miles and were replaced with prolex grooved and braided hoses. na i wouldnt bother my self as you will have to take the door panel off and its alot of efford for the driver side so its prob best to leave it to autoglass because if they breakanything they will pay for it and if you do then your stuck and then autoglass might not touch it! I agree, i would get them to have a look first, but if no change in the window speed after i'd take the door card off and just give it a good hoover to get all the glass but be careful not to damage anything. I dont think it is actually the "Disk" its self that warps (others may correct me if im wrong). But i believe after heavy braking the pads and disks get hot, and if you then come to a stand still in traffic with your foot on the brakes you get material transfer from pad to disk, With this next time you brake you get a juddery feeling. Not 100% on this but something i was told a while ago. Your disks should, also have a witness mark on them to indicate if they are low or not, its on the inner lip of the disk. Disks and pads are easy enough to do. shouldnt take too long and if you can get a tool to push the piston back into the caliper it makes it easir if not just use some big stilson grips :D Should be a walk through in the knowledge section? When changing you disks and pads next why not even put some braided hoses on, I felt an improvement when i did mine, i got them off ebay and the Prolex groved disks!! Tom.

I'm not gonna be ona stand or anything :( as i never kept up with owt was happening to do with LOC and JAE but will drive there both days as i can be fussed with camping and i live close :P Will deff pay alot of attention to the LOC stand :D and hoping to have my charger kit on before! Ive got Mintex pads all round with Prolex disks on the front. Ive not had any problems. The place i work at use Mintex pads on the cars and vans too. Tom.
