  1. Now, I guess I'm not alone in wondering how the anti-collision system works. Luckily some YouTubers have tested it out, which is fortunate because it's a well known fact that the IS300h is not a fast car, and I would struggle to reach the 15mph needed to do these tests. and
  2. I believe it has been mapped (or something) so that when he/she lifts off, it goes bang. I'm no expert - someone here may be able to provide a better explanation than me. It is a totally unnecessary thing though.
  3. There's me, minding my own business on a trip to the supermarket, when this jam roll in a wrapped Schiessewagen sets off the loudest bang (the clip doesn't do it justice) in the known universe under the flyover in front of me. I almost needed new trousers. Is this supposed to be cool? Daaarn wiv da kidz innit blood? Tosspot. bang.mp4
  4. I'll wager that the plate was fake anyway. As the scumbags generally wear overalls, it does give the impression that they are doing a repair. I must admit though that I'd not ask Big Bad Bob's Machete-equipped Emergency Repair Service to go anywhere near my car.
  5. That's not entirely true. I have read reports - possibly even here - that cats have been stolen while cars have been parked in supermarket or garden centre car parks. There are also videos on YouTube of cats being stolen in daylight on streets.
  6. This thread has gone very quiet. Have all the IS300h owners dashed to their nearest Lexus dealer to trade their stallions of the highway in for something faster? I'm just waiting for an important Zoom meeting to end, and I'm off to Leicester, make no mistake!
  7. I had a similar issue with a company iPhone - it locked up, couldn't reset it to factory settings, couldn't get a code from iTunes yadayadayada. Ditched it for a Samsung and have been happy ever since. I hate iAnythings. Overrated tat.
  8. Oh yes - how could I forget him! And Mark "Rollerball" Rocco...
  9. Two more Schiessewagens taken off the road:
  10. This reminds me of Big Daddy, Mick McManus and Giant Haystacks on a Saturday afternoon. There was always an old lady in the front row ready to batter one of them with her handbag...
  11. 50 quid? Goodness me no - nip over to Halfords and get a set of these. You'll get money off with your Gold Card too! https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-accessories/exterior-protection/michelin-parking-protectors-door-and-wing-mirror-reflective-silver-211878.html
  12. That X7 has the most hideous front end I think I've ever seen. It is like someone has stuck those grilles on instead of designing them in. Absolutely foul.
  13. Will it be battery or hydrogen powered?
  14. But their dealers are hopeless and the cars fall to bits! Give me a Ferrari any day 🙂
  15. I must admit that I only use mine once in a blue moon! It is a cool feature to show off with though.
  16. I saw somewhere (here in fact: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9805555/Motorway-speed-limit-cut-60mph-reduce-illegally-nitrogen-dioxide-emissions.html look for the blue box on the right about halfway down) that they're going to trial a section of road with overhead lines for electric lorries with pantographs similar to railway locomotives. Given that the overhead lines on railways come down on occasion, causing utter chaos, it strikes me that hydrogen powered HGV's would be a far better alternative. One plus though, this electric system could keep all the lorries in lane one, leaving lanes 2, 3 and 4 for the rest of us 🙂
