  4. Try here mate : Total Closure / Wing Mirror Thread ...
  5. Dont get me wrong guys I wouldnt dare try this myself as i aint an electronics nerd, I am a computa nerd!! I would be more than willing to speak further about getting it done by someone else but was just wondering about the nylon gears to be honest. So how long would it take? Is it doable at a meet? If so then I need to get my fat **** to a meet then hehe. Also need to see how much I am actually gonna spend on new wheels as I may need the 175 for some nicer wheels at the minute hehe. Cheers guys Dunk
  6. How does it sense that the windows are closed? Using the same method the switches use? Or does it do each window independantly from the others? The reason Geoffers never added the total closure bit to his setup was because the IS has nylon gears for winding the windows, and if forced by the motor would snap and fubar your mechanism -- costing a lot of cash!. I am interested in how they have gotten round this problem as it was the main one Geoff has always been concerned about and thats why he never added the total closure to his project. Cheers Dunk
  7. Erm..... thats actually my belly button ......

  10. Thanks for the info guys :D Now just gotta get some silver bulbs which flash orange that fit the IS indicator. Also anyone know the best place to feed 12v DC from for my DDE's? As the DDE's I have are only the rings and no instructions (yes I know lol!) cheers Dunk
  11. I love this one !! Toyota 4x4 :D
  12. Looking for some advice please guys I am buying a second set of headlights to add DDE's to them (so I dont need to drive a car without headlights :D ) and was thinking about the orange indicator lens' on each one. I am thinking of removing these so its clear and then getting the silver bulbs which flash orange (if that makes sense) instead of having orange lens' with clear bulbs. Any ideas? Advice? Cheers Dunk

  14. Wasnt the one stolen in Birmingham a white one mate? This is a black one which was stickered up.
  15. Off Topic but I heard that one of the R500's was stolen its the "Reyland" one if you know lots about Cossies and stuff. Apparently its the one which could do 190+ MPH Piccy of it here! Shame if its been stolen to break down Not a cossie fan myself but thought I would stop these two scratching each others' eyes out :P
  16. Hmm Thats why you wear a seatbelt! You think he was badly mauled? it looks like his head ended up out the window
  17. Nice and snowy in mankchester! :D Took 45 minutes to drive 3 miles but in a lex thats not a prob Cant understand how buses can justify driving at over 30mph on ungritted roads like fricken morons........ And also watched a kid having a snowball fight with another across a road slip and fall into the path of a car, which was luckily going at about 5mph, had it been a bus then I am sure I would be cleaning his bodily fluids from my front wing...... some people have absolutely no common sense at all.
  18. Manchester got a light dusting but dont think it will be there in the morning :( I love snow but I know my lex doesnt :(
  19. craig let me know how you get on I have some crappy 10mbit 4 port hubs here I can let you have one or two with a couple of patch leads (let me know how long you need em!) to help you get setup. pm or post here if you need any more help mate.
  20. No need to worry Scott as they are clearly BBS alloys on that kit
  21. Think it would look mint on an IS And I do love those alloys :D Click Here
  22. AOL has terrible Latency with lots of online games.... I would get a standard ADSL (512K) with someone like nildram for gaming. Or even use Jolt as they have their own gaming servers and so the pings will be a lot lower. The thing that is important with online gaming is the ping to the hosted server, the lower the better. Xbox live (£40 to buy the kit) is free for a year and then £4.99 per month thereafter. One thing to note is that if you are only using an xbox and not a PC to connect you WILL need a broadband router and NOT a USB modem which is what a lot of these free deals offer to be honest. you will need to connect your Xbox to a router to connect to the internet via adsl so please bear that in mind when you are ordering. If you use a pc you can do a smiliar thing using ICS (internet connection sharing) and a network switch/hub. One thing to also note is that some ISP's do block some protocols and ports on their service so make sure they do confirm that Xbox and PS/2 ports and protocols are fully supported and that the router will not block these. if you need any more help let me know. Dunk
  23. Just spoke to TopGear and they have them available for the IS :D £975 fitted
