Rx300-SE

Apologies for my late reply, I've been running a Lexus RX300, 04 Plate on LPG since 2008. 21k miles when I converted it at a cost of £1500** Prin LPG system + flash lube , (80ltrs under carriage LPG tank), Its been very economical running this car. and its been trouble free, My view is if you want to convert any car make sure its at least 4 years old (newish) so you can keep it for long to recoupe the cost of conversion. Converting a 13 years old car to LPG is waste of time and money... I understand the case of accident and insurance have to pay you off, in that the investment is lost............ but hmmmmmmmmmm everything come with its own risk Its been a very good experience for me and I’m planning to do a new conversion soon on a 2014 Rx 450h using the same company medway dual fuel Their service was outstanding and Ill recommend them A full LPG tank give me 350 miles on motorwayand about 280 miles urban

Hi All, I lost my car keys inside the house, searched all weekend but couldn't find it I don't have a duplicate but have a blank copy key without the transponder Apart from going back to lexus, can someone please help me with what my options are ? And Im thinking if I can use a transponder detector to look for the key (if there is any such device available in the market )

Hi all, Im in the process of buying(not sure) a LEXUS RX 450H SE car - 55k miles, 2010 - 3456 cc But the car wont start - Dashboard blacked out Im guessing its the battery but not sure I just want to gather your opinion on how much it will cost to fix assuming it has a dead hybrid battery ? And list of problems that could be wrong with the car from electrical point of view - Ill assume petrol engine is ok Many thanks

lookout for transmission issue, ensure the 1st and 2nd works fine and oil leakage from front tranni shaft seal

cost of servicing the LPG system/ year is less than £100 from my experience (filter change and recallibration by hooking system onto laptop) I've also been able to travell on P&O ferries to Calais enroute paris on several occassion without issue Yes there is inconvenience (reduced boot space) cos I have to carry spare tyre, but only when travelling on long journeys and never had problems with valve department on LPG, got flashlube fitted never had insurance issue its just the initial fitting cost from my opinnion Good luck with your search :) ...

@BENZ_MAN fitting LPG IS not cheap, I bought a Lexus rx300, 21000miles, 04REG and fitted Prinz LPG system @ cost of £2200 as far back as 2009 its been a pleasure to own an hybrid rx300 (LPG) still using the car and intend to keep it for a while My next car will be a porchser Cayenne hybrid IJN or another LPG project I'll recommed you look for a RX350/300 with LPG fitted already, the problem is it might come with high mileage Goog luck with your search :) ...

Hi Andre2000, Did you finally resolve the issue of cold start transmission I have same issue with my RX300 04REG, its been going on for two years- I alway wait for the car to warm up otherwise it stops moving when I brake Please let know how you finally resolve it Thanks

Hi, Have you resolved this issue yet ? I've been having same problem with my MK2,04 Reg lexus RX300 for past 2 years also have problem of slowly dripping transmission fluid. (Between diff and gearbox). Not yet fixed but I just ensure the oil is regularly topped up - Can you please tell me what it cost you to fix this issue ? the car will not move sometimes especially in winter, unless the engine warms up I always need to wait at least 5min then driving improves as the engine is fully warmed up Sometimes, I've driven the car all day, popped into the shop for a while, coming back to continue my journey, the the car will not , unlesss I rev it sooo high to get going and driving is better if I use the manual gearchange selector Can you send the LOC link to drain and change the filter I look forward to hearing from you Thanks
