  1. My new 1996 LS400 and I didnt think I could get better than my MK1 but I was wrong.
  2. It turned out to be a great little meet glad we came along and met some new faces, and B15RUP's SC 300 well :tsktsk: me what a tool and my 12 yr old daughter told me on the way home that after she had a go in it I've got to get one.
  3. I have just bought a MK3 and around town it ticks over fine when stopping at lights etc,but the last couple of days I've doing a lot of motorway driving and after a drive on the motorway say for 30 miles steady at 60/70 when you come off a slip road to a roundabout or lights it just dies, turn the key and it starts no problem and is perfect for the rest of the day until you do the return trip on the motorway and the same thing again stops the starts and is perfect, any ideas?
  4. Wipers are OK so it's definitely not the fuse, but no sound from the motor/pump,would you have any idea where it's located please Steve
  5. Cheers Jom, the LS works on a motor as there is a fuse for it but I do wish it worked the same as an IS.
  6. The headlight washer doesn't work on my LS400,but I cant find the fuse in the fuse box by the steering column,on the cover I have a fuse location for a 30A that says P/W which I presume is Power Wash but cant find the fuse,or can anyone tell me where the motor is?
  7. Did think of that but the bulb is green not clear.
  8. Took it all out and yes you can replace the bulbs, they are in a small holder twist and remove. Thanks for the help Been to Lexus, nearly passed out £5 per bulb, £5 for a poxy bulb And I thought Mercedes were expensive.

  10. Maybe I should have posted this on my Heated seat post but I thought I'd get a better response doing it this way. I put my side lights on today and one of the heated seat switches wont illuminate up, but when you push them in the indication light comes on to let you know the heaters are on,can you replace the bulbs in the switch or is a new switch needed.
  11. I went and had a look behind the ash tray and what did I find.................THE SOCKET IN THE LOOM :D , the switches light up OK so heres hoping the rears are the same,I'm so pleased cheers Steve.
  12. So do I,but I didn't buy them because they were heated just that they are the same as mine and the drivers seat is better, just would have been a nice bonus .
  13. Does anyone on here have a 1992 model with heated front and rear seats, the reason I ask is I have just bought a set of seats from a 1993 model which has heated front and rear (same shape leather panels as mine) and in my 92 handbook it shows that they were fitted to my year and I wanted to know if the wiring and plugs might be under my old seats so in effect all I have to do is plug and play?
  14. My mate has a MK3 and he has a warning light just come on below the fuel gauge of a red circle with loads of broken lines around it,any ideas as he doesn't have a hand book with it.
  15. They are just doing the main A412 road by me today, with that cheap s**t of 10mm of tar + 2mm of chippings on the hottest day of the year so it should have set by next month, and when i was driving on the other side 80% of the road on the side they have just done is now just tar already as most of the chippings are in the kerb,I hate this way of resurfacing.
  16. You can drive it with no problems, just push the spring loaded arm over to the left and pull back.
  17. Hi Toady I know they might be a bit far from you but they might do steering wheels by post Leather repairs
  18. Now I do like American Custom and British Custom cars (not the Escort/Saxo ideas of customising),Drag racing ,Low-Riders aren't really my thing but I quite like it the way it is,as long he doesn't take it to far eg: 40 spoke Chrome or Gold Low-Rider wheels ,silly body kits ,Link Chain steering wheel or as you say Neon lights underneath then it's OK as I don't think there's much difference in his LS as say some of the IS's in the club and yes Lexus did spend shed loads of money in developing the LS ,but if we are saying that, then are we saying all cars should stay as they came from the factory and remain unchanged and unmodified ,each to their own, plus it doesn't make us LS owners seem very welcoming when its actually the opposite Sorry for the rant :o
  19. Thanks to Tony and the team for a good day even though I felt a bit like a leper being the only LS (dont know where my other LS brothers were) but still a good day plus I got to meet a few more faces, and of course thanks to Wozza and the LOC for sorting it out.
  20. I'd keep the Lex and pay the fuel,as you will have HP + fuel every month on the new car which I thought would have come to near enough same as the petrol in the IS.
