I have read that quite a few of you use RockAuto for your parts,what I would like to know is what manufacturers on service parts (Oil,air,fuel,gearbox filters,HT Leads,Belts etc) do most of you go for as there is a lot of choice,FRAM - BOSCH - BECK/ARNLEY - ACDELCO - PRO-TEC - ATP - WIX ,as I'm about to order my first parts from them, but as there is a couple of makers I haven't heard of before,so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Graham,yep they are the ones what size tyres have you got on yours as I was thinking along the lines of 235/45/17's I must say you LS looks the dogs :tsktsk: Cheers for clearing that up for me.

Cheers Wozza,got these off of ebay had 4 but then when I went to collect they could only find 3,tryed a few breakers today but they want to know what model LS they were on originally.

I have just got hold of 3 7 hole 8J X 17 LS 400/430 wheels PN PZ405-F0670-ZE ,I'm now looking for a fourth,does anyone know what MK they came from originally and any idea where I might find one. Wheel

Excellent to hear. Yes he does get booked up quite quickly, so book early to get the date you want. I'm sure you discussed this, but he gives you the option of blueprint or lexus parts, make sure you specify which ones you want him to use. You can also supply your own oil if you want him to use something specific. Let us know how you get on :) I'm going to get him to do a full service as well,and will let you all know how I get on :)

I spoke to Derek at Tech One in Sidcup today and what a bargain £220 all in (Belt,labour,VAT) just needs 3/4 days notice and will be a same day service,so I know where mines going in a few weeks

Well Steve personally I would do the job because if after you got rid of the Lexus you were going to look for something of similar size you could be buying someone Else's problems, because as the old saying is "Better the devil you know" and if you think after the cam belts done you know for certain there was nothing else to do to the car then you will get another 60000 miles before it needed doing again and you will more than likely have to do the cam belt on your next car as they might have had the same idea.

Went to play a cd tonight and all I got was an error message on the head unit now my cd cartridge wont eject out of the boot unit,does any one know how to get it of the multi changer unit without having to remove it from the boot please? :tsktsk: poxy thing OK so no joy with this so far, so can anyone recommend a person that can repair the unit please.
