  1. Thanks about the ride.. a mate of mine at the local garage had to order them from Germany, took 3 weeks or so to get them. Any local car modification shop should be able to get hold of them for you.. I PM'D you the details..
  2. Hi Didin, I have got the H&R 35mm springs with standard shocks, they are excellent springs, and i cannot complain about them, i havent tried Eibach or Apex, but what i can tell you is that the H&R springs lower the car more then 35mm.. It looks absoloutly perfect, but as my dad drives my car now and then, i have just put an order in for some coilovers, to give me that flexibility of adjusting the height and damping control, (so springs are sold to a LOC Member) <_< check the pic out,it sits n drives nicely. H&R 35mm with 18" Wheels..
  3. :winky: So no joy then anyone i take it
  4. I have tried doing a search, but all i get is a valeting service, they just valet give the average polish n shine up, but not the real thing..
  5. something similar to this: USA-Detailer They actualy take off the lights, seal all the cracks n join, tape up any plastics bit etc.. then detail the car..
  6. yep thats true MsW, but i couldn't find the actual link, but the deatiling shop produces the same effect to the car, proffesionaly done.
  7. I have been browsing on the IS300.net, and seems like most of the users take their cars to detailing place where they get a full paint work make-over.. Detailer Is their a place here that offers a similar type of service here, i don't mean the average valeter, as i think that they not specialised in this body work service.. so any one know any place..
  8. :zee: WASH N' FRO is it wildernes :winky: :D So when/where do we suggest for the next one members?
  9. YEP! excellent meet, sorry had to leave, it was nice to meet you all, and you LOZ for five minutes i had.. and i definatly agree with that phrase "Thunder" By the way how long did everyone stay? Don't tell me Mat Wildernes, you got the Meguiars Shampoo out started to wash the car while it rained?? :winky:
  10. I've orderd some coils to go low.. but this guy/gal has re-invented the meaning of LOW-ering LOW-ering
  11. Sorry mate, couldn't tell you who's it is, (even though it was parked next to mine ) but here is a picture of it from Gaydon Meet : Silver IS @ Gaydon
  12. I have heard some bad rumors about wonder wheels, and also seen some bad results too.. :yack:
  13. As far as i am aware R-Tec offer this facility too... If you have no luck, then PM me, and i'll pass on the details to you :winky: (after i've dug up through papers )
  14. Here are some pics of my Lexi's rolled arches: Rolled Arch Rolled Arch
  15. I'll see what i can do, try n get hold of a digi cam, someone has borrowed the one here at me work place..
  16. I got it done in Keighley, near Bardford, it took the guy around 2 hours and cost me £40 for having both the rear arches rolled, fronts are fine.. It's a bit hard to do if you have no basic idea on it, as you could crack the paint job. DUNCAN did his own rear arches, he grinded the rear ones.. :winky:
  17. When i rang R-Tec a while back about some wheels, they told me the offsett for the Lex was 40mm, i told them that the offset is 45mm, they didn't agree with that Nice Wheels.... Mine rubbed at the back a bit, but i got the arches rolled, but the front, you will always get a minor rub when turning the wheels etc.., but that will become less gradually.
  18. Just don't let the screen go completely off the screen.. :mat: Screen mover

    Ebc...

There is a springy thing there, but i have no idea if it's that, anyway, i have got the guy (where i got the discs from) to order another set of EBC discs as a replacement, so when i will be fittingthem, i'll check the springy thing and the pads..

    Ebc...

This is a different sound to the grooves passing the pads (normaly when driving), this is actualy only when i am braking - grudge, grudge click n clunk!!

    Ebc...

I have had my EBC Grooved Discs and GreenStuff Pads in for a while now.. But recently i am getting noises from the front of the car both sides when braking, it's like the Pads are clicking in the grooves of the discs? Can anyone shed any light on this.. (- i'm taking a guess on discs being warped a little, if so then i can get them swapped from where i bought them from..) thanks..
