  1. If they were to come apart, then why would one produce them in the first place My mate who's got'em on his Merc, is on the motorway daily, (he's got a very heavy foot) he's had no problems and he's got 20" on.. Didn't think they did them in 18" You'll be able to get 19" on as a few members have them, making sure they are the correct offset, will require a minor arch roll or grinding...
  2. Agreed on that, what soze you going for and what car/colour is yours?
  3. I've seen'em before, someone i know got a set on his 500 series Merc, proper wicked wheels they are.. Look better on the car instead of just viewing the wheel... Not even a squeak when they are spinning, even when you stop, they just sin silently.. Clem, majority of us here use the Allow Wax, which currently has a special offer from a certain supplier... Only gold members can access it and the recieve the GOLD dicount tho :winky:
  4. Well in Bazza, :winky: It's the BS Code (i didnt know the name) but thats it..don't mean the postcode, the nice :tsktsk: officer told me it's got to have that on now, and that they are stopping cars n checking for this (only new-ish ones), otherwise it's classed as a show plate.. :yack:

    Vibration

Just that not all garages tell you this or they don't pick it out.. Same thing happend to one of the alloys on my previous cars, went to Gorden Tyres (reptutable company), got the balancing checked and re-done, but the steering was shaking was still there but only slightly, but vibration was there too. I then went to garage where i got the wheels from, they checked and said the wheel is buckled, they replaced it for free.. :winky:

just a guees, try swopping the wheels round, move the front to back n vice versa, see if this helps, it could be a slight buckled alloy..

yeh, agree get the tracking / wheel alignment checked..
  8. Nige, on your reg plate, is there one of those signatures on the bottom right hand corner? When i got pulled up by the :tsktsk: cops, he said that it ain't got one on so it's classed as a show plate, there fore i have to remove them and get the proper ones on.. This proper :tsktsk: peed me off...
  9. Yep GunMetal would look better.. :winky: By the way, have you posted this on the .net aswell. i am sure i've seen the same pics there too
  10. An elderly gentleman went to the local drug store and asked the pharmacist for Viagra. The pharmacist said, that's no problem, how many do you want? The man answered, just a few, maybe 4, but cut each one in 4 pieces. That won't do you any good, said the pharmacist. That's all right, continues the old man. I don't need them for s*x anymore as I am over 80 years old. I just want it to stick out far enough so I don't pee on my shoes.
  11. What did the Big chimney say to the Little Chimney? Your too young to smoke...

  17. Hiya Missy.. Welcome to the club, hope you and IS have great times togther, which i am sure you will :winky: Piccies would be excellente and so would joining GOLD and saving £££££ on future modifications
  18. Dark IS, where di you get the pre-cats taken out from?
  19. I have heard that that stuff is loads better than Meguiars tho because it keeps adding layers to the paintwork rather than like magiaur's which only goes to alimit. It's price, but well worth it for dark coloured cars... a vast amount of Lexi owners use Zaino over Maguiars or other products.. Get's my vote, even tho i aint used it.. One day tho
  20. Thanks Gus W, i'll giv'em a ring and see what they are offering... :winky:
  21. Any idea how that is done then Chris? Also how can i get mine checked out if the pre cats have gone or not, as i am just past the 70K mark? (sorry for the 50 questions)
  22. Chris, did they use a certain type of replacement pipes for these or can we get them done from any local place who customize their own exhausts for you (i know a place who make a Powerflow set up)..
  23. Questions for Mat or Chirs: 1st, how did you remove the pre-cats? 2nd, what difference does it make? 3rd, is it recommended to get them removed? thanks
