I got pulled up in a local town with my plates.. i got M44 KRM and all i did wa M4 4KRM, also had the Lexus Logo instead of a GB or something.. The copper even took a Photograph and said he going to report it to the DVLA and that if i get caught again with an illegal plate then DVLA will take the plate and give me the original back or equivalant and sell the other on. He was said i was the FIRST of the Day and that he caught 15 cars day before :P :P

Hopefully will wash it and put another coat on tomorrow, not that it needs it, but why not (if it don't rain) and get it ready for the sunday meet.. will be taking some pics and post them, even better if you could come to the meet Mat (hint hint <_< )..

Sorry to hear about it mate.. :( Same thing happend to my mates Scooby STi, he only had it a week and some over dosed prick went in to the back of him.. worst thing was the guy had no insurance, his car was worth about £50, and the police said that he'll be lucky to get anything out of this guy anyway :arrrggg-matey: In the end it cost a few £££ out of his own pocket to sort it out. I've got the opposite.. it's my Dad I used to have a Civic VTi in Red, Kitted out and dropped to the ground.. he use to drive that around complaining as watch out for pot holes, bumps etc.. When i got the IS, he never got out of it :o .. sying it's smooth n quite etc.. Then i put H&R Springs in.. the HKS Hiper and the ICE install.. he keeps sayin i have ruined a destroyed a nice gentlemans car. They don't realise these necessaties.. .. He does'nt drive it much now.. Although i caught chillin out in my car on sunday nite with the guys... i was with my mate down town and saw this IS coming up road not realising it was mine (as i left it at home).. All fun though..

Yep, i have been using the Super sin Polish (Red Label) and the Gloss Protection (Gold Label) forabout 7 years on my previous cars, which were red, i tried it on the Lexus but it doesn't seem to last, it shines good, but after 1 or 2 washes the you are able to see the scratches again and have to repeat the process.. :( With Meguiars, the feel and look of the paintwork is a different effect, not a single scratch or swirl is visable, and it feels like it's just come out freshly painted.. Also i am able to top up the wax after a wash the Meguiars Quick Detailer and Quick Wax spray and wipe off bottles.. ;) ;) I didn't get that effect when i used AutoGlym though.. :(

Hi all... Where to start then?? Yesterday, haviong the day off work, i decided to try the Meguiars "3 Step " Product which i bought on-line, instead of using the usual AutoGlym(which been using for 7 years).. Started at 12:00pm, washed car, dried it with Autoglym Leather Cloth, since it being Astral Black, needed a proper clean.. after which you could see the minor little scratches and the swirl marks in it :( :( 1pm - 1st Step - Applied Stage 1 of 3 "The Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner" this took out 90% of the scratches and swirl marks that were present before - 2.30pm - 2nd Step - Applied Stage 2 of "The Deep Crystal Polish" this is a pure polish it topped up the stage 1 and not a single scratch or swirl mark was to be seen B) it also created an awesome, deep, wet-look shine, which Autoglym doesn't even come close to - ;) 4.30pm - 3rd Step - Applied Stage 3 of " The Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax" This was the perfect product to finish of the brilliant wet-look and shine which was created in Stage 1 & 2 - B) 6:15pm - Finished.. (6 hours :o - but worth it) I could not believe how brilliant the paintwork felt and looked after using this, even better then the dealer look (especially as it was sunny yesterday). Took the car for a spin around town center, i could not believe how many people were actually looking and point towards my car - felt good B) So i give this advice especialy for the Astral Black Lexus owners.. if you haven't tried Mequiars, then you've not come close to knowing what true quality paintwork looks like.. B) B) Zee going to admit.. you are definatly right with this one mate.. ;)

A question for those with 18" wheels (or not with 18")... My current tyre set-up is 225/40/18 Uniroyals, do you think it is worth while selling these tyres (only 2 Weeks Old) and getting 225/35/18's on.. Just feel that the tyres look abit big for the 18" rim. I've heard that it's abit more of a rough ride with the 35mm on.. Anyone else's views on this is appreciated
