Had a Similar system on my V max. if you hit the banzai button on the grip once it gave 60hp going up to 100hp if you hit it and held it down you got 100hp till you let go! Needless to say I did not keep the bike long.... Tankslapper city!! But it was better than the big bang boost. never EVER dared hold the button down. I saw a mate do it once ( that I bought it off) and it was scary! o -60 in around 2 seconds! When we did the Streetfighter Challenge we had a wheelie bar but I still never dared get it under 10secs. its effing hard to have the bottle on what is basically a jap version of a Harley. But we thought it was funny. No pun intended. If you are offering a ride in yours though I'd love to :)

Its good to know there are some owners who really do put some miles on these tarmac eaters. I had a tracking issue with mine where if I had not had my eye on the ball I would never have spotted that the wear on the inside of the fronts was through the steel belts! I mean these were seriously dangerous and yet would maybe not have been llegal as only 5% of the tyre surface was damaged. must have been running on an inch of rubber at each front corner... All aligned and now thinking on checking when I go out side next....

unless the dealer told you that your car varied from the spec in the brochure I think you would have a good case for missrepresentation. Depending on if the car had been discounted to accomodate this lack in functionality. Maybe you could write to Lexus and copy the usual suspects including the JD Power Survey Team Coordinator... and state your case? :P

mine hit a wall at an indicated 158. it went from pulling hard, to not pulling. Most gutting. but the apexi item seems to have a cure for that. Now what I need to figure is, do I want mental top speeds or do I want punch midrange that will make me look marginally less foolish in a straightline challenge with an EVO say...(like Monday night, Mat) :zee:
