    Having tried to source one for a LONG time myself, I'd say your best bet is to have new LEDs soldered on to the light strip. Lexus could not get hold of a spoiler for me, or a light strip. Maybe a breakers yard? I'd just re-solder some LEDs myself.

    Perfect!! Make - Lexus Model - 1st gen GS300 sport (2JZ-GE engine) Year - 1997 Mods - None currently, but will have a Injen air intake kit on it soon Use (road/track etc) - Motorway, round the town etc, but does a 200 mile run to south wales every other week. The car is pushed quite hard then. The car is quite low mileage at 66,000, but with the bi-monthly hammering it gets, I want the best oil I can get for her!

    I believe they were capable of 140 odd. When I was in Germany with mine it topped out at about 135-137 with 3 people and a suitcase in it.

    It could be the air flow sensor then, if you've fitted a induction kit. Did you re-install the mass air-flow sensor correctly?

    Ahhhhh.... It appears they have sent the diamond cut wheel instead. 3 of the rims look exactly like yours Anees. Do they not make the painted finish one any more? I'm not going to swap it, 300 quid for this one wheel, will just get it matched to the others. Looks very silly in streetlights or on a bright day, only one twinkles lol. Dave NINJA EDIT! Ah, so there's only one kind of finish? Time for some more searching!!

    Hello people. I have a Mk1 GS300 Sport with the deep dish rear wheels. Now, I had to order a new rear from Lexus due to a crack in the old one, which has made apparent that the 3 other wheels have been refurbed at some point in their life and look very dull in comparison. The new rim has a shiny finish too it, and a darker paint colour on the inside of the rim, the old rims are a matte silver all the way through. Is it possible to have the older rims brought up to the shine of the new rim and painted on the inside to match? Thanks Dave

    Hi guys. I have the standard exhaust system on the car, was new about 4 years ago but the exhaust tips that are connected to the ends of the two pipes are tarnished and worm (IMO, look a bit small too). Is it possible to fit aftermarket tips to the existing stock exhaust system? I'm not sure how they connect or what size I would need for the connection. Thanks Dave

    If you are looking to drop it by twice (or more) than what it is at stock, i'd really be on the look out for speed bumps etc. It will be VERY close to the ground by then.

    Can't go wrong with Linksys. I have the WRT54GR and it's never faulted me once, even spending all of its life of nearly 2 years I think next to a radiator. Never needed a reboot or anything. They really are reliable bits of kit. Work with Virgin well too.

    They bolt over the top of the two suspension coils in the engine bay to stiffen the car up a little.

    What colour is the smoke? And is there any white residue underneath the oil cap after the engine has been running? If there is, that indicates head gasket failure.

    The D90 is a very good piece of kit, the bonuses of being able to pump up the ISO to over 1,600 and still get noise free pictures is amazing, as well as the ability to record 720p HD video with it. If you do go down the Nikon route, i'd go for the 18-200 VR lens, it's lovely. Another nice toy to have in the bag is the Nikon 50mm F1.8 lens. A lot of people think big aperture means big money - but in this case it doesn't. You can get them for about £80 and they're one of the sharpest lenses around.

    Looks ace! BUT What happens to the ride when the road gets rough? I can't imagine it's as comfy as it was.
