Gentle bump

OK, so I bought a grill few weeks ago and I thought it will be a good idea to give it a good silver paint (1C0). I went to the shop who prepared the paint for me, painted the bloody grill ...but guess what? it has a slight shade of green. the guy reckoned that this is the correct one. I haven't put the laquer coat yet but I was wondering if there is a chance for the colour to dull down a bit ... Has anyone else here experienced the same thing?

Sorry mate. I washed my car a day before that so imagine how I felt. Some more dust is predicted to come our way this weekend....so you might get some too monday or tuesday...so don't wash your car. :D

Clicky What you guys reckon? I drove back home to close the windows ...after that I started to think of the humans reaction to a real natural disaster. People were driving like crazy...no indicating, speeding ..you name it. I am not an old fart to criticize, I drive fast too sometimes but within my limits and cars limits ...but this was just crazy. The visibility was really low...it looked cool though..a bit surreal....

Mate, there is a guy here that's selling his turbo setup and forged pistons for about 2600AUD. You will have to pay for the shipping from Australia. You might get it cheaper as the guy want's to get rid of it. There are few other people interested but nothing set, so let me know as I might be able to put you in contact with him.

Im currently working on Hawk77's sets, but as he has ordered 5 sets its taking a bit of time. Yours should be in the post on Tuesday with any luck. @Wout is200, i haven't forgotten about you mate. I got down to the bank yesterday and checked that the money had gone through ok, as you sent a direct bank transfer i haven't been able to check the money instantly like the others. Yes they will, I've just had a chat with the guy and he is quite happy to shipp them over to Europe as long as the buyer pays for shipping costs and insurance. I could have them sent to me and then I can send them over to the buyer if it comes down to that...:)

No the unit is not covered by warranty... I've had look on talkaudio website and there is a tutorial of how to do it. Quite a biggie but as you said "doable". I am just wondering if there is any way I can check if that's the case... i mean check if the earth track is stuffed. I've opened the unit 2 times now and I am getting quite "familiar" i should say ..with it :). Some guys could fix this for quite alot but I will do it my self...not sure if I need to solder over the whole strip in there or not. Do you have an example of how to do it? The pics on the talkaudio is not that clear ....i will probably register there and send the guy an email asking him how to do it, since he knows the unit. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

So, when I bought the car (Lexus IS200) it had a great Pioneer DEH -P7850BT with Bluetooth and everything. It worked fine, till one day when the screen started to play up. I though that is just an error but no, the screen was working only when the face was sliding out..and that's for few seconds. After further investigation I found out that the ribbon cable needs replacing. I've ordered a brand new ribbon cable, and the unit was working fine before installing it(the face/screen was sliding out and in with no problems), apart from the fact that I was unable to see anything on the screen. Suddenly, the unit stoped working . I replaced the ribbon cable (quite a pain but not impossible) hopping that this was the cause of the sudden death, but still no go. There was no smoke coming out or anything from the unit. I've also checked the cable that goes into it and it's alive….but still no go from the bloody unit. Do you have any thought on this? Is there any way to check if there is any power going into the actual unit?
