  1. They would fit mate, I am quite sure, however I would go for the TRD stuff at even cheaper price if not the same and better quality.
  2. Quite a neat job I reckon. It makes me really think if I should get some tools together and start doing that in my spare time. It looks amazing the final product that is.
  3. It's not for Lexus but I think it's very useful. click me
  4. Is this a good price for a turbo setup? Some time ago someone was selling a turbo setup for 3-4000 AUD. (about 1500 pounds).
  5. Anyone interested? IS200 turbo set-up Ebay LInk
  6. I am actually looking for something like that aswell. I will keep you posted if I find anything.
  7. As the title says, I will install some HID's into my fogs and I would like to know where did you locate the ballast? Thanks in advance
  8. Clicky Might've been covered before, but I found this a very good read. Cheers
  9. i am a muslim and i do not believe in the extremist actions like suicide bombs, killing innocent people etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxhuEedhkYA thanks wahid Mate, please don't take offence. I was not pointing finger to anyone in particular. Don't worry, christians comited horific crimes in the name of the almighty for hundred of years. Again...to believe that your own killings are in the name of god or something is just plain stupid. Religion was created by people to keep the social control and abide by their norms. I am not going to get into details (altough I could as i've studied this subject extensively) but back in the days people were stupid enough to believe and comit crimes. Nowadays, some do stupid things because some sick mind thinks that is going to make it fair. Belive me my friend (i hope i din't sound silly here) but the religion will diminish in time and you will see big changes within your lifetime.
  10. Religion...the root of all Evil. Sorry guys but killing people or arguing for tooth fairies and Santa Claus is just plain stupid. See Inquisition, renaisance, and other historic times where people where killed for having different believes than anyone (i.e. Gallileo Gallilei) No offence to anyone I hope.
  11. TRy this: Click 1 or Click 2 and also there was a guy who was selling some carbon fibre weave adhesive that was like the real thing.
  12. The ball joint that popped out in my case was really worn out. The rubber encasing was broken and all the grease from inside vanished in time, therefore there was just metal to metal friction. As a result the ball joint bacame smaller and smaller and eventually popped out. A suspension place should be able to test the ball joints easily. When I had them cheched the guy told me that they are in a very bad condition so they will need changing. By the time I placed and order and arrived, they popped out but I was lucky enough to be 2 meters away from the garage.
  13. Yeah mate, that is very similar with what happened to me. I was quite lucky as I was driving out the garage so I just drove the car back into the garage and waited for the ball joints to arrive. I had the ball joints changed (easy enough to change them your self), I had my wheels aligned ...but still does not self centre. I've had a chat with my mechanic and he said that the steering column might need some checking. I will see how it goes.
  14. Mate, thanks to you I got the ball joints from Mike from Toyota NS very chep. Really helpful guy and he knows what is talking about. Cheers.
  15. What about these? Link 1 or these Link 2 which I think they could look quite good. I like the look of the Lexus IS200 front end mate, don't get me wrong, but I think it could use some modifications for a more modern look. I know that Lexus is not an Audi but that doesn't mean you should not modify your car just because it might look like something else that's already out there or has started the trend. I see the LED fog lights more on more on different cars, and they come like that from the factory. Take the fogs from a Mercedes new series, or VW some models. They all have the leds in their lights and they look quite good. On the other hand, if you could send me that pic of your frind's car with 12k hids in fogs would be great. OPen to sugestions.
  16. Ebay mate. Search for LED strip. Make sure you get the right size - 25 cm.
  17. I think the other way around though. I think the individual LED's look much nicer than one strip of light. It gives it some more personallity. But I agree with most of you ...the LED's strips on the AUDI's look really mean and very agresive. Wouldn't mind one at all. At some stage I was thinking to modify the headlights in a similar way but I thought that it would involve too much work...no not the LED strips easy to get for 10 bucks...but something very similar with what AUDI does.
  18. I will take the factory fog lights out and put in the led strip. I think that could look quite good, but I am open to opinions.
  19. well, the other day the bulb in one of my fog lights was off, so I decided to invesitgate and see if I can fix the problem. Than an idea came into my head(not really a bright one) "What if I put some HID's into my for lights?" I know it's posible and all but I kinda like the look of THESE so now I am trying to decide and I would like your help. Which option should I go for? Option 1 - HIDS in my fog lights Option 2 - replace the fog lights with a LED strip (as per link atached) and give Lexus IS200 a slightly more modern look. There are few other that look quite nice as well. Help me decide and post the reason why..there my be things that I haven't takein into consideration.
  20. What do you mean , no parking lights? On the headlights? or you might call them differently? like position lights or something.
