  1. Some people beggar belief, Regardless whether he is at fault or not (sounds like he is though) Would you really want you name to be dragged through a forum who are your main customer base? Strange. You think he would want to sort the problem out ASAP, very short sighted.
  2. Wow, that's impressive, both the number of miles and the fact that you've done them all yourself ! that is impressive Yep and still runs and looks great. Full lexus history too, yeah its more money but they must be servicing it pretty well so...
  3. just rolled over to 190.000 mikes, 99 V owned from new!
  4. Hey all, Just wondering how many of you guys have had your Is200s from new? I bought mine in Sept 1999 (V) and still have it! Anyone beat that?
  5. I bet the housing on the rear is all corroded, take tham out and have a look, Its a common problem and is caused by salt water splashing through the brake disc vents on the plastic splash guard.
  6. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=58113 Check out this, a post in detailing section.
  7. See this diagram for which sensor is which. Ah good diagram thanks mate. Tom
  8. Cheers, I have got an error code and it indicates one of them has failed in one of the manifolds, 2nd one i believe.
  9. Hey how many 02 sensors does the is200 have and are they all the same part number or do each of them differ? Thanks Tom
  10. Had mine from new, is a October 99 V reg, No real problems apart from usual wheels, ball joints, coils. Still running really, really well. also have the receipt aswell! Really weird when I got it as it had only been out a few months, everyone used to look at it trying to work out what the hell it was, it really was a before its time design.
  11. If thats a problem try pristine wheels, they do an exchange program, and have dealers nationwide, I used them, very good job and i'm fussy!!!
  12. Well if its any comfort, you would be in the same situation a few months down the road anyway, The original finish just does not last, much better off getting a good refurb company to do it.
  13. I would go for black myself, but I am a factory look kind of guy! P.Lindblom Where did you get your wheels refurbed? very nice!
  14. I would say one of your coil pack(s) have packed up, thats what happened to me! get a fault reader on it.
  15. Parthiban have you used this company before? any reviews? Thanks
  16. Aido, yep that is about the price but for £60 I would want a diamond cut too, Wim dont offer this service unfortunately.
  17. Have tried WIM, wanted £60 per wheel, with no diamond cut! seemed alot.
  18. There is one on ebay at the moment, is that any use?
  19. Thanks alot, I thought you must be able to use it on the move! will try and sort it with your advice! I have it ll connected fine now too!
  20. Yep your right, so far I have only found pristine who do indeed do refurbs for lexus. Unfortunately thay are a fair bit more for this service...
  21. Hi there, Have done a search and found some info but was wondering do you guys generally go for just a full silver wheel spray or do you go for a full on diamod cut too? I need to get my wheels done but want the factory look, do the wheels loose their appeal if they are just painted silver all over? Thanks Oh has anyone used pristine wheels in Woburn?
  22. Hi there, On my 05 Gs I have now linked up the phone and numbers but i cant make calls when on the move? I understand it not letting you dial a number for obvious safty reasons, but if you have a nunber setup as spped dial, and its one button surely this is acceptable? Is there a way roud it? I can recieve calls on the move... Thanks all.. Tom
  23. Happens on all Is200s After 3 sets on warranty and the same thing happening to them I demanded they get them refurbished instead, they used pristine wheels and they look like new still 2 years on. The standard paint finish have no laquer, or inferior quality. Getting new ones from lexus will not solve the problem you will be in the same situation in a few months.
