Hi mate, IS200 is a fun car to go sideways if you have a bit more power than 155bhp. A supercharger or a light turbo conversion transforms totally the IS. Regarding the performance of the IS I have past many OEM Civic Type R's. It all depends how much you want to tune your IS. You can reach it up to 800bhp (if you have the money and the craziness to do it) by just fitting a supra engine or a motor from an IS300 and fit a turbo kit...

Once you have them fitted on your car, write a review. I am quite interested. These guys are well know in USA

I have KSport on my car for 2 years and I am pleased and satisfied with their performance and ride comfort (for the money I paid). You can get better coilovers if you want to pay more. These ones have a good bound-rebound. I have set the stiffness to medium and are very comfort and very good at handling in corners and stopping.

Try also www.isfanatics.com. Regarding the 2JZ-GTE motor you are wrong my friend. The motor fits fine in the IS200 engine bay. The only thing is that you have to change the oil sunk with an IS300 motor (which you have already). In Greece there are already 5 IS200 which have a 2JZ-GTE motor fitted in the engine bay. All them work fine without problems. Here is one of the Greek tuners who performed this installation. http://www.kontrafouris.gr/veltioseis.htm Use google translator to read what is written. You can also search in Australia. They are quite a few tuners who have done this mod. But I believe it is much easier and maybe cheaper to turbocharge your IS300. Many many USA members have done it.

Youd have been better setting your money alight its because Superchips remapped standard ECUs and you cant with the Lexus Stav, is correct you cannot remap IS200 OEM ECU. A company that i know that sells tuning chips for IS200 is Powerchips which is a well known tuner. http://www.powerchipgroup.com/datasheets/1/Lex0007.pdf

Hi. As some of you might now I fitted an HJS 200 cell catalytic converter a few weeks ago instead of the Magnaflow catalyst that I bought from ebay. The reason of this decision was due to the inform I got from two exhaust tuning shops I visited in order to arrange an appointment to fit the Magnaflow exhaust. Both shops informed me that the model of the Magnaflow I bought was small and not adiquate to handle more than 200bhp. I would probably damage the Magnaflow catalytic converter and maybe the O2 sensor (fitted after the catalytic converter). So they suggested to fit an HJS 200 cell. They also stated that I would not have problems with check engine light. So since I wanted more performance I decided to go for the HJS catalytic converter. Unfortunately after a few days the check engine light appeared while I was driving with a steady speed (90km) at the heighway. I pulled over and reset the ECU and the check engine light turned off. This phenomenon happened two more times again while I was driving the motorway. All the times that I drived aggresively and full throttle I did not have any problems. I enjoyed the extra power and performance. So today I went back to the exhaust shop and fitted a ceramic spacer. So I hope I will not have any further problems with check engine light. The pic shows the HJS cat before we added the spacer: Also today I received the TRD gear gearknob that I ordered from ebay: The pic is not very good, but I will take a better one tomorrow. While the car was on the ramp I took some photos of my HKS Silent Exhaust. I also took a photo of the rear Hotchkis sway bar. Today also i received the needle bearings from USA for the Eaton supercharger. The code number is INA F 55477

Most of the members fit the TRD or the TTE kits. Or you can search in USA there are many kits from various well known tuners, such as HKS.
