  1. I’m going to show you a great video of the 2024LC. Take a look at the gap between the steering wheel and main infotainment screen. Just about enough room to store a Mars bar for those long drives. What were they thinking! Not cohesive in my opinion… just lazy!
  2. You are right. So it’s drivers side for us. Sorry for the confusion.
  3. I too plan on taking the LC on an epic euro road trip, so I’m eagerly awaiting my feedback / route recommendations Marcus. A personal concern is about where to park. So any recommendations on good hotels / locations welcome too. I just applied for my Crit Air cert 2 weeks ago and it took a little over a week to get to me. You must place it on the front left of your windscreen (passenger side).
  4. OEMs of 3rd party compatible stuff? If OEMs would love to know who you used for future reference.
  5. I’d rather keep it that way. The rarity is a plus for me.
  6. Greta video. Agree with the specific points. it is a certainly a conversation starter. All positive too.
  7. One of my biggest worries about sonic red / infrared paint was in the event of a respray the match would very difficult to achieve. I think it’s a 7 stage paint coat. Assuming someone starts stripping parts to get to the internals, I’m guessing there is significant damage? Whether they succeeded on taking it or not. Unless they are considerate thieves, gently stripping parts and laying them on a carpet, organising the bolts and clips….I would rather it be taken and never seen again! Ideally without any important stuff in the boot!
  8. So…. After extensive testing. I’m pleased. The sound at idle to my ears, is broadly the same. However below 3k RPM, it’s much more burbly and noticeably louder. Is it a game changer? Does it provide good bang for buck. Yes! easily reversible too. What I would say is that our cabins are sooo well insulated the windows do need to be down to really discern the difference.
  9. If the seat bolster is a little worn, tell them to replace it or at least factor it in. I know the quote for a new Tan seat (sport plus spec so with alcantara) was about 2k…but if it’s black like this one, I bet it’s well easy to get it sorted by a professional for a fraction of the cost? Don’t let it out you off.
  10. I don’t have HUD but driven both with and without. I find it distracting personally. In other Lexus’ I’ve owned I’ve always turned it off. Anyway, give it a few years we will all be wearing the new apple headsets when driving right (I’m kidding… but it would fix the apple car issue…)
  11. There is something about the buzz one gets when manually shifting (in full manual) and in sport plus in this car. The down and up shifts are ridiculous. The emotional connection Lexus tried to create, has paid off!
  12. Ditto - done lots of road trips with 2 kids in the back. And I’m 6 foot and still manage to get a NL 8 year old comfy… ish. Kids are fine back there. Probably a challenge for teenagers though!
  13. Looks great, even in a Tesco car park!
  14. That would do the trick nicely. What’s the make / model of screen you’ve used there? Does it have wireless CarPlay?
  15. That blue and white interior looks like a million bucks! Congrats! Keep the pics coming!
  16. Saw this in the wild (derby). Anyone on here? Very nice spec. White with red interior.
  17. Sadly not but appreciate the honesty! I do love the roar of the engine (first 10 - 20 seconds) on start up and when you give it some… I take it the controller gives you the ability to close or open? Surely just a case of pressing the switch?
  18. How did you get on with this? And do you recommend? I may follow in your footsteps!
  19. The only aspect I would love to have from the refresh are the 360 cameras that are now standard, and the ability to fully turn off all assistance for some fun. I also like the physical button for the heated seats. The blue interior is quite tasty too but would force one to go down black or white paint IMO to make it work. But not at the cost of interior design. It certainly doesn’t inspire me to upgrade anytime soon.
  20. Looks like an afterthought. Similar to a lot of the German manufacturers who just stuck on a tablet on the dash for most their last generation cars. I’m sure functionality is a step forward, but at the cost of design. IMO it’s no cohesive at all.
  21. That colour in the sun is a thing of beauty. Bring on spring and summer!
