  1. hi there if you get new wheels, will you consider selling your old wheels to me?
  2. i have realised that on the rear lights it says Toyota... well my car is out of warrenty anyway so i am not reliant on using main delaer for servicing. i will call up another Toyota garage and see if they will be able to service my car because as Ormi mentioned they have the same parts as Lexus...if not i will just get my mate to do it for me. cheers for info.
  3. i was sure that some of the parts are same because when i got my brake discs and pads they had toyota models on it aswel as lexus! cheers for that information Ormi, really useful stuff. i m deffo going to call another Toyota main dealer up because its a huge saving if i can get it done at toyota. B)
  4. i called up my nearest Toyota and they said that they do not touch Lexus because they have completly different engines and different parts to the toyota range! i didnt argue with them an just said ok. i think i will call up another Toyota near me and see what they say.
  5. Cheers for the info Dave an Deckie, I think I will just change the oil, filer an air filter to a K&N one. What oil do you guys use on your lexus? On my last car I used 10w 40 castrol.... What's the oil recomendation on the lexus? Thanks.
  6. I think i will do that. i am going to change the oil, oil filter, air filter and maybe the spark plugs. is it worth changing all that after a year of having its major service?? on all of my cars when i service it i always change the oil, oil filter, air filter and the spark plugs.
  7. my car is due for a service the 7year one (mine is 58000) called them up today and they quaoted me £272. i think that is way too much just for a oil filter and coolant change! Toyota offer that for £99-£150 on all of their range because i got my corolla serviced for £99 which was oil change an coolant top up. i think i might take my car to an Independant Lexus dealer or just a friends garage because i have 6 stamps in the book and the major service has been done by lexus.
  8. Yes, you will need to get a fascial adapet to fill the huge space once the standard HU is out.
  9. yeah i no that place, i'm in toxteth and city centre mostly when i'm in liverpool. you might see me in heswall as i am there alot, telegraph road way....
  10. no i filled up about £11 and got 10 litres of fuel and got 40mpg out of it then the sign came on.
  11. am on the other side of the water, Wirral. but i am in liverpool a few times a week like. where abouts in liverpool are you? just a tip for you, remember to push down the clip and push the grille towards the radiator and you should get it off easily.
  12. if you are worried about fuel expenses then the IS200 is not the car for you! your better off getting a 2.5 litre bmw because it drinks the same amount of petrol as the is200 but its faster! lol if you just want a nice car to cruise about in then the IS200 IS THE PERFECT CAR! oh yeh i get about 40miles out of 10 litres of petrol
  13. cheers for the info deckie777, hope it will be useful to someone who is fittig a grille in daylight! haha i still dont no how i managed to get it off in the dark without breaking the standard one! lol good work tho with the pics.
  14. Now that is nice! i'd have that on my car anyday!
  15. I have just removed my grille in the dark about 5min ago! i can get a good nights sleep now! all i have to do is repositon the horns and put my new grille on :D
  16. Hi Rez, ive got all the pics for the job, but having problems with hosting from photobucket, hopefully have them up soon. cheers for that mate. i want your alloys for my car! mine is exactly the same as yours without the alloys!
  17. Since this topic is about the sports grille I'l post my question here. I bought the same grille from the link above, got grille 2day and got a set of instructions put its in Japanese! If any of you guys have fitted the sports grille yourself, what is the easiest way to remove the standard grille? I have undun all the top screws an stuck now! Lol
  18. what kind of alloys do you have? thanks i had a golf gt tdi it was 130 an re-mapped it an got to about 160bhp, if you re-map yours you could easily get 180 an its well worth it! i miss my golf!
  19. Chruchill £1600, 19 yrs. they where the cheepest for me.
  20. there was a similar thread to this an i think they both have different bumbers but they look similar.

    New Wheels

Same here! i have been lookin on ebay everyday an just see the same old thing again an again! i should have bought an audi again...theres so many wheels for them!
  22. MY personal OPINION is if you get a lexus is200 whats the point of converting it? because the whole point of owning an is200 is to experience the amount of petrol it drinks and to bleed your pocket dry! haha just imagine if you turn up to a lexus is200 meet, everyone will be talking about my car averaged 30MPG on the mway, an does about 20-25MPG locally...you dont want to be the odd one out by saying "My car gives me 50MPG locally an about 80MPG on the mway! it would just totally ruin the purpose of an is200!
  23. i know how you feel, my car got keyed all over, bonnet, both wings, every door pannel etc... cost me £500 to get it repaired and now my car is like brand new! :)
  24. its a nice car like but look at these aswel http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2002-LEXUS-IS200-SE-...=item45eef37e86 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-IS200-SPORT-NO...=item3ef9af0423 GO FOR THE SECOND ONE
