i am in the same situation as Izzy as of last week! so i think this gives me an exuse to get the Dark headlights B)

may have snapped the wire. alternatively if you lock the boot with the key the in car, the lever no longer works. check the lock of the boot is vertical not horizontal

I took my Lexus to Johnsons and they charged me £99 for a service and the exact same service from lexus was going to be £272!

I also have a private plate which has my name on it, bought it at the age of 17 as a long term investment and to use it on my car. since owning the plate i have spent £400+ on just putting it on my cars. i am not bothered about how much it has cost me because i have enjoyed having a private plate on my very own car. end of the day some people buy stuff down to their own opinion and choice. everyone is different and we all have different minds and do not all think a-like. B)

possibly your tracking is out of place??? may need new tracking done.....

i have had most of my car resprayed due to vandalism, this also included bonnet but the price i paid was including other parts of the car. i think a bonnet repspray should cost about £100 from a good bodyshop.

one thing i have to say about your car is the colour is very nice and hard to come acrros. looks better with the rear spoiler now. would look even better with the trd body kit :) i have the same grille as you and when i installed mine i re-positioned the horns as i think it looks better hidden.

There is another guy on ebay who is selling those exact wheels and he wants £200 or nearest offer and he is based in Manchester. i emailed this guy just out of interest for a friend and he paid £1000 for them so he said just give him an offer.

My boot release lever was working fine, i used it to open the boot the lever a few hours later and the lever feels very light and weak an no longer opens the boot. anyone else had this problem? or does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

nice car, all i would reccomend is to get some side skirts and a front sports grille then the car will look complete :)

i have never got the windscreen tinted, but i have had all of my cars tintend and the windows have never been took out.

they gave you the fine and made you take the tinits off? a few of my friends have just been asked to take it off an go to police station and no fine! lol

they dont really bother that much because they make you take it off then you have to go police station show your car, week later tints are back on again! lol it just wastes their time! also cops round here have their own personal cars tinted to the max!

i have always had the fronts tinted on all of my cars. on my previous car i had it limo on the back window then a bit lighter for the back and a little lighter on the front. this gives it a nice shade effect from dark to light. as for the police bit it depends on the area u live in. i have drove for 2 years where i live with tinited out windows on the front which only lets in 30% light.

i have seen that film, the lexus in that film sounds like it has an induction kit because it sounds better than mine which is standard.

well i have just bought one years road tax for £215 and if the road tax price is going up then i am going to get rid of my car by the summer and move onto my next car. i think its ridiculous this whole tax thing! do the government want us all to drive a ford KA or something! soon as demand goes up for cars with low c02 emmisions then the government will put a tax on it! car manufactures are going bust due to the credit crunch and with low sales rate! an now the government put the price up on tax! soon all major car companies will go bust due to the government an they'll regret it then! sorry for this rant! i hate the word TAX so much latly!

Thanks for the correction TonyGoose, i knew the sellers name was somewere along that line lol by the way sean my grille is the same as the one in the picture posted above, its all 100% GENUINE LEXUS PARTS. Grab yourself a bargain while you can :)

i bought my sports grille for £40 (sprayed) off ebay and the seller was lexusbirmingham if you want to save your self alot of money just buy one from ebay :)
