  1. I think this thread has got side tracked ;) LOL By the way, if it is any help, both of my LS's run this battery and have no problems :) Andy
  2. That is the correct battery for the LS, part number is 28800-YZZJC. You do not need an "075" battery. Andy
  3. Glad you like it :) if you have a look at some of my previos posts you will find pics of it with the standard suspension for comparison ;) As for the one in the background it is Aspen green, the same colour as my other one :) Andy
  4. Hi BiffMills, the warning lights could mean anything inc O2 sensor, ABS fault etc so it really needs the codes reading for a clearer picture. Depending how quickly you want to sell the car it would pay you to have the warning lights checked before sale. As for value, depending on the mileage, service history and condition anywhere between £2500-£6500. Regarding the wheels, I recently bought a set of 18" LS430 wheels for £140 in need of refurbishment but it depends what size they are. Hope this helps, Andy
  5. certainly up for it so will have to get the old thinking cap on :) Andy
  6. Yes they will drop it right on its chassis if you want to go that low :) the comfort is still superb and it has lost the wallowing feeling but is still good over bumps. Andy
  7. You wont be disappointed with the MeisterR coilovers :) I fitted them myself along with all new front lower suspension bushes and lower ball joints. Not too difficult, you need too remove the rear seats and I would recommend unbolting the front lower ball joints from the hubs to ease access. Cheers, Andy What sort of costs involved in getting it the same as ACLex beautiful LS400 Mike Hi Mike, Jerrick @ MeisterR is doing the the coilovers for £669 and I believe he is doing an offer this month :) so if you want some now is a good time to buy :winky: . As for the wheels, I was lucky enouugh to pick them up from Ebay and had them refurbished by Pristine in standard silver B) Andy Hi Andy, Many thanks. Mike Welcome :) where abouts in the South are you Mike? Andy I live halfway between Reading and Hook in the middle of nowhere. Mike Not too far away then :) us South coast LS owners should have an LS tinkering day sorted B) Andy

  9. Thanks Steve, ride is firm but not too much so, I am still playing around with the damping but I think I am there now. Still thinking about some spacers to fill out the arches better LOL, yes, that is my other Lex in the background Andy

  12. Very nice! I'm looking for a set of nice wheels as well, but it's not so easy to find a set that suits the LS. Most aftermarket wheels are very 'open', me no likey... I was in two minds as whether to fit some 5 spoke 06 GS300 alloys :) still not sure ;) I might fit them on my other LS and compare side by side LOL. Andy
  13. Glad you like it :) As I am not making it faster there was no extra charge ;) Andy
  14. Hi Ruud, yes they are LS430 wheels but refinished in standard silver :)
  15. Hi guys, well the MeisterR coilovers have been on for a while now and I really love the look and the ride so I thought I would share some pics with you all :) Comments welcome ;)
  16. Maybe a loose engine cover or undertray? LOL, my undertray didnt make a flapping noise until 80+ :winky: scared the hell outa the wife Andy
  17. Welcome :) good choice of car, I have the 95 LS as well ;) Seat does not go as far down as other cars I have driven but you do get used to it. Front screen demist only moves the airflow unless you are on auto IIRC. Not sure about the flapping noise :( Heated seats are a common failiure and are most commonly the elements failing. Take the sidelight out and run either some hot glue or silicone sealer around the lens to lamp body join :) Have fun, Andy

    Hello

    Welcome aboard :) Andy
  19. Hi Mike, yes, they do :) if you look either side of the balljoint at the top of the pic you will see what I mean. Andy Andy
  20. Having done the same as you, there are things you will miss about the W210 (depending on spec)but that will be outweighed by the things you will like about the LS :) Andy
