    Hi The IS 250 is an all ways better than the IS 200 in my opinion and if you go for the Auto there is a snow mode which makes driving in snow a lot easier , I wont say they are good in snow but they are as good as any other rear wheel drive car with loads of OOMPH

    I usually get just over 31mpg with mix of town and a run , not bad for a 6cylinder I think ?

    If its speed you want then YES you will be disappointed , the IS250 is not a flying machine but unless your surname is Schumacher I think it will be quick enough for you .

    I have found a couple of bags of sand in the boot and the snow button work wonders and make it driveable , not exactly the best car in the snow I have driven but we manage .

    Must agree with all your comments , I have had an IS 250 SEL for a couple of months now and im still thrilled every time I drive it, it has the Mark Levinson stereo and multiDVD player etc and of course the magic parking aid . All Fantastic , it has the black leather so no reflection problems and the heated seats are fabulous when your stuck in the snow .. go on treat yourself !

    I have the 250 Auto and the ride is superb ! hope the hearse is a Lexus when I go for my last ride :shutit:
