  1. I saw someone else asked you about keeping matching axle pairs etc and I was wondering if your advice would differ when it comes to a 4wd such as the RX? Are axle pairs still OK or should I be ideally sticking with the same pattern all round?
  2. Just read through your thread. Fingers crossed you finally get to the bottom of this mystery!
  3. Sounds like a great deal to me! :)
  4. As Pete said 12.3 volts is actually quite a low charge. Isn't it supposed to be around 12.7 volts or something for a full charge?
  5. I don't know how you've got those figures! you must of treated the throttle like your crown jewels! lol :P
  6. In the summer I get almost 30mpg and winter it drops down to 28. The car is used for the school run, tesco's and running the kids about! when I purchased the car Lexus said 35 mpg but you would have to drive everywhere downhill and push the car back up for those sort of figures! lol :P
  7. yes the pump that sprays water onto the screen. I will check to see if anything is blocked and get my friend to use his air tool on it. If not I might just change the little motor attached to the washer bottle. Thanks for your reply's :)
  8. There more expensive for exactly the same make at your site Dan and you only get 2 wipers (you get a triple pack on ebay!) :zee:
  9. Has anyone come across the problem of weak front screen washers? mine are bad and only quirt out a little bit. Could it be the motor needs changing? Cheers.
  10. Ive just changed my front and rear wipers today. It cost me £27 inc post for bosch ones off ebay. :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300806790194?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
  11. Lexus sent me a letter asking to buy mine off me (but I think its a sales ploy to get me to buy the RH450h!) Apart from the usual small battery issue I haven't heard of any other electrical problems with the RX400h.
  12. I couldn't find it in the handbook. I thought it may of been a bonus feature!
  13. I don't off road in it as its not really built for that. I have drove it on fields in the summer and it handled really well. Its also been excellent in the snow. :D
  14. yes my car is probably too old for this function. Oh well no biggy! :zee:
  15. I've just tried this on my 57 plate and I cant get it to work!
  16. My 5 year old RX400h has done almost 80,000 and runs like new. Its the best car I have ever owned. Its been serviced every year and well looked after and like previous owners I've only had to change the small battery which cost me £54 for a bosch one from euro car parts. This time of year I'm getting almost 28 mpg and summer months 30 mpg. I would recommend an RX400 to anyone. A lot of car for your money.
  17. I Just took my 57 plate RX400 for an mot and service and as usual about 2 hours after the car has gone in lexus calls and informs me this or that needs doing normally brakes! this year that say the rear brake caliper is ceased! They want £387 which i think is a crazy price for something that costs around £120 new. I think its the last time i get my car serviced at lexus. Ive just been informed the car has passed its mot so how bad can the rear caliper be? Any advice on this would be great. Cheers, Wayne.
  18. That's exactly what I did as I couldn't sit with the radio on for 5 mins without the car not starting. My car was 3 years old when I replaced the battery for a bosch one.
