  1. Koch Chemie is a German brand. Meguiars APC is a good alternative if that's easier to obtain. Sorry can't help with your park sensors. Mine just work and always have done.
  2. Nice result.👍Any plans to do the lower grille as well? Not sure if its a direct fit or what and I guess it's not as visible, but the lower one on an F-Sport also has the same mesh effect.
  3. Lexus Edinburgh charge for the insurance cost (£18 IIRC), but not the car itself.
  4. Looks like maybe the wrong type of product was used. Something glossy or silicon-based. Whatever it is, you need to get rid of it before applying anything else. I would recommend using a good quality all-purpose cleaner (Koch Chemie Green Star is my fave) diluted down with water to about 1:10 in a spray bottle. Use it in conjunction with a soft-bristle detailing brush to agitate the surface. Then wipe clean with a damp microfibre cloth. Assuming it's not been permanently damaged, that should restore things to a nice clean and matt finish. You could then call it a day at this point, or add a water-based dressing that claims to offer UV protection, and anti-static properties.
  5. Since we're talking about a bumper modification, I would assume the "shock absorber" being mentioned is actually the metal reinforcement bar that sits behind the bumper.
  6. I've been buying this occasionally for years and use it in my IS250. It frequently goes on sale in Tesco for £2 and that's when I'll pick up a bottle. With my latest purchase however, I noticed that its now comes in a new style bottle with an extra claim on the label - that it protects against corrosion from E10 petrol. Intrigued by this, I done a bit of googling and found a reply attributed to the manufacturer (Holts), when queried whether this can make E10 petrol "safe" for an older car. "If you have a car that is not compatible with E10 fuel then our Petrol System Cleaner will make the petrol compatible by protecting against potential corrosion from the higher ethanol content." There are other products on the market which do exactly this (make E10 safe for incompatible vehicles), but they are way more expensive than Redex. Especially when a bottle does 2 tankfuls. Food for thought if you have a 2005-2007 car? 🤔
  7. Replaced mine at 64K and was told they would've still been good for a while. Seems like they've increased in price since I got my set, albeit that was 3 years ago.
  8. Memory seats were axed for the newer cars, so that's not a slam-dunk. AT link doesn't work, but does it have the rear window blind? Heated & cooled seats? Full leather? Wood trim? None of this should be present on an F-Sport. Also, F-Sport is the only model with paddle shifters after 2010.
  9. Could it be the speedo is calibrated for 17 or 18" wheels? A 205/55R16 has a considerably smaller rolling radius than the rear tyre size when 17/18" wheels are fitted.
