  1. Who said it was better? I have sat in the LBX and it is much smaller inside than a UX. I sat in a UX afterwards and it seemed very spacious compared, not something you would normally say about a UX. I would say the boot looked bigger in the LBX (322 litres), but I am not sure what the UX size is, but it is much shallower. I found it very snug and quite narrow with terrible rear leg room, but it is a smaller car so is to be expected. Lovely dash board though.
  2. I think what he means is you use a remote to unlock the car rather than it being ‘keyless entry’ of the higher models. The higher models unlock when you press the button/sensor behind the handle and touch the handle to unlock again. I think the days of actually putting a key in the physical door lock, except the emergency key are behind us.
  3. OK, so it would seem that Car Wow are only doing discounts on cars with the Link Pro and Electric seats. Basically the configurator is screwed up and not to be relied on.
  4. Great, so to confirm your Premium Pack came with 14” screen and electric seats included in the price and not an optional extra…?
  5. Totally confused now Same as the price list you show above and just checked on website too. I do know my head was spinning yesterday trying to work out what was and was not included. The price Car Wow were quoting as the original manufacturer price was higher which I now know is the correct price. The price you quote however does tie in with Car Wow with the metallic paint etc….. EDIT just re-reading and what you are saying is the price list you quote above is incorrect as is the configurator, the correct price is what you/car wow say, apologies I’m full of cold at the moment and it’s making me a bit slow. How Lexus expects any to make an informed choice is baffling.
  6. I thought the 360 camera was a long shot, but I think the price is correct (including Lexus Link Pro) and seem to tally with Car Wow, but I have the best price dealer with my questions to get further confirmation. Main thing I am pleased about is the bigger screen and electric seats.
  7. Any update on this? I am considering a FWD NX with premium pack. From what I have read on this post, the 14” screen/Lexus Link Pro is now standard along with electric seats. Do we know if the panoramic view monitor is also now standard as stated on the website? I wondered why the car wow descriptions all mentioned Lexus Pro. When you use the Lexus configurator it doesn’t show the Lexus Link Pro and 14” screen as standard, but if you add it the cost does not increase and it also adds the electric seats too. Thanks
  8. Or on iOS devices, share button —-> Find on page
  9. That's what I have always done and each time I have taken my private plate off when I have changed cars, they always got their original number back. I always keep the original physical number plates too so I can put them back on when I change the car.
  10. Here you go, pre-facelift F-Sport with Premium Plus package. The one I saw was an F-Sport too.
  11. I have seen a pre-facelift UX with body coloured wheel arches too. It was a bronze/orange colour, not sure of the actual name. The base facelift and F Sport Design still have the black wheel arches too.
  12. This may be an odd comment, but it’s not the pedestrian noise generator that you can hear that is maybe amplifying the tyre noise? That is a rhythmic sound audible at low speeds when the engine is off.
  13. Have you tried putting the car in neutral as that disables the regen brakes? You can then give the brakes a good workout without any regeneration. I do this on my Prius from time to time. It’s amazing how different it feels with no regen brakes.
  14. Not sure what model you have, but I test drove a 2019 Takumi and that had a kick sensor to open the rear tailgate.
  15. The LBX I was sat is was all powered up. It had what looked like a large power source under the boot floor whirring away. The car was able to be switched on and seats adjusted to whatever position I wanted. The seating position in my video was for my driving position, but set a bit more forward than usual to give a bit more legroom. When the car was ‘started’ the seat would move forward and then backward when turned off. The lady on the stand said everything works, but the car had been disabled to stop it moving. I was also able to have a play around with the centre screen. I don’t think I have ever said it is too small to be a Lexus, so that must be someone else, just that it’s very small in the rear, but being smaller in the rear than a UX that makes sense.
  16. I dont think it was because it was left hand drive. I have to admit, any car seems cocooned compared to my Prius, even much bigger cars as mine is so open and the windscreen is so far away. I am in the perfect Lexus target market age wise, but on the very odd occasion I do carry someone in the back, I would like them to have better access and definitely more legroom. Sitting in the back of the UX afterwards it felt so roomy and that is not something you would normally say about the UX, but then the LBX is a small car so I guess it makes sense, but why less room than a Yaris? The UX is perfect for me, but I will hold off until the 2nd generation comes along in a few years time now that I know the LBX is a no go.
  17. OK, here it is 😀. I have a channel, but I do not qualify for monetisation as its just somewhere I upload the odd clip. i'm right at the bottom of the heap for views 😆 LBX walk around Thanks
  18. You are very welcome 😀 I have to say it did look better to me in the metal that it has done in pictures or videos, but once inside it seemed much smaller than I was expecting. I think that is probably due to the wide angle lenses people use for filming. I have uploaded a short walk around clip on YouTube, but I was not sure if it was OK to post a link to it here. It does seem odd that despite having a slightly longer wheelbase than the Yaris Cross it seemed to have less legroom by quite a margin, maybe the front seats are bigger?. I agree with you, I am shocked that they did not get those dents removed at the earliest time possible as you end up saying "look at that dent.... look at this dent" instead of admiring the car. Lets hope the cars they take to the event in Soho are pristine.
  19. Well it’s a no from me. Went to the BBC Good Food show to see it. It was a pre production model in grey with the brown interior It looks good, but felt quite tight inside, smaller than a Yaris which I don’t understand, although it may be due to the very high dashboard and large centre console giving it a more cocooned feeling. The top of the dashboard was a very dense squishy material, but other parts were very pre production in quality. I just touched the leather (Tahara) on the side of the centre console and it came apart. Other parts were rough in places too. Not sure I understand why they would show a car like this. The e-latches on the doors were great and the doors sounded very good when you closed them. The boot was much bigger than I expected, but the rear leg room was extremely tight. I could just about wedge myself in behind my driving position (5’11”). The car is obviously well travelled as it had a couple of dents and a scratch too which is such a shame. Back to looking at the current UX or maybe just wait for the 2nd Gen UX. Probably look at the 2nd Gen C-HR too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely car, just not for me. I am sure the production models will be up to Lexus usual high standards.
  20. Ahhh I didn’t know there was a lorry in front 😀. Like you I would tap the brakes to disengage as I would prefer to be in control. I removed my comment about B mode as I suddenly remembered you have the 300e which uses B mode differently to the B mode in my Prius. I thought as I was typing it that I didn’t remember the UX 250h I drove having a B mode, then the penny dropped and I remembered yours is electric. Sorry for the confusion 😀
  21. I am confused by this, did you expect it to bring you to a stop/slow down at a roundabout? It’s adaptive cruise control so it would not stop, just carry on as the radar follows a vehicle rather than looking to slow for an approaching junction. It’s an amazing system, I use mine a lot and not just on motorways, it’s especially good in stop start crawling traffic. When I am coming off a slip road I just flick the lever (Prius) or tap the brakes to disengage as I prefer to take over, then I just tap resume to continue on my way. I hope this helps 😊
  22. That's good to hear, I look forward to hearing when that will be. It does seem that the UK is behind everyone else. It is also odd that we are not getting the 'Atmospheres' that Europe are getting, but the usual Premium, Premium Plus etc., even though the main LBX section of the website still talks about Relax, Elegant etc. I think if it wasn't for those inconsistencies I would put a deposit down, but I will be waiting until full prices and specifications are released.
  23. Yes pretty much as I thought too. I wondered if it would be built in Japan, that’s good to hear
  24. Exactly what I do, but I have mine on a smart switch to come on for a few hours twice a week and that has worked well for me.
