  1. Hmph, I gave a link not that long ago for you LS400 owners for you to download the workshop manual online...
  2. Hmmm well I am have ordered front ARB bushes, front control arm bushes and the seering rack bushes. £140 so lets see what happens! The movement looks to be coming from the bottom rather than the top.
  3. Hehe, I've done worse jobs ! I usually just put a camera on and record what I am doing from above the engine bay, any issues and I just refer to that. He loves it because there is just a ridiculous amount of room in the engine bay to play with :D
  4. Hmmm yep defo do it myself. Motor rebuild is £70. Will only take me 4-5 hours at a guess/
  5. It happened again after cleaning terminals. Replaced battery with a Toyota one. Happened again. Will take the manifold off and have the starter rebuilt some time in the future. Still need to do the compressor FFS but just don't get enough free time :( Gonna try this weekend ! Taking the manifold looks like a pig of a job but at least it's on your feet.
  6. I connected up the Toyota diagnostic system and drove it this morning. Temperature readings are perfectly fine, I think it just likes to sit there! Well thats the end of that story!
  7. Hmmm, I've owned it for almost 6 months and it's always been at that cooler position. I think I'll change it for the sake of however much they are.
  8. My Lexus sits a tad below the halfway point on the temp reading. Not massively below, just slightly below making the engine run slightly cooler. Anyones else do this or shall I replace the stat? No problem with hot air or anything. Cheers!
  9. Is it that bad that it really needs doing Steve? Have you tried amayama? 319 usd from amayama if you wait for it to come from the UAE..?
  10. Had Falkens 452 on my BMW, they were pretty rubbish and overhyped. Appeard to me as a premium budget tyre! Contis for me though. I think the Vreds were much better than the Falkens though,
  11. I could have sworn some vandals through a stone at your window?! Maybe Autoglass will replace it for your excess...!
  12. Well thats a good fit and match. I hope you just write this down as a lesson and don't demand any written apology from the lorry driver or something!
  13. OP = Original poster Yes, I was forced into giving an input into this thread, if I didn't I would have exploded!
  14. Im generally an angry guy, usually because I spend my day dealing with idiots! I blood pressure ranges from 118 - 155 ! It technically cost me time, and as time = money then it cost me that aswell :D !
  15. Oh yeah I already know that :) Shes really nice, I really like the back seats in that blue IS of yours............................
  16. No that isn't a parking space that I am parked in. Many years ago it was originally the road. I realise its difficult to blame someone else but I can be forgiven after waiting 20 mins to get into the disabled bay that I forgot there was a post to my nearside under the hight of the door. As the pub manager said "Its been there for 20 years" As for blame, you have to blame someone, I thought the arrogance of the Chef & Brewer manager was outrageous so did his head office. We will wait to see what they say. Mike I've taken the liberty of bolding the irrelevant points and underlining the important bit. You just can't blame someone else for you driving into a post, you just can't. Ok you got screwed over by a lorry driver hanging around, but it's irrelevant.... If I was the manager etc and someone approached me blaming me, I would just drop to the floor in utter disbelief and laughter, and would probably require a defibrillator to get my heart back into action...( which I would blame on you OP because you tried to blame me putting me into cardiac arrest...)
  17. Think it was X12 Alan or something like that, pre-facelift LS430. Whoever was driving had quite a heavy right foot when getting away from the lights under the viaduct!
  18. I am so confused it's unreal. Is the OP seriously trying to blame someone else for him driving into that wooden pole? This is a wind up right?
  19. Can I just point out that 330,000 miles with fuel at around 130p and MPG avg at 25.... that is £78,000.00 ......
