  1. Absolutly any Lexus dealer or Toyota dealer can do this for you. Give them the part number for the bush itself. And ask them to give you the price. The PN for only the bush is 48655-50012 And you will require x2. They do this in America quite alot aswell.
  2. The lower bushes take a hammering. And Blueprint sell the balljoints seperately anyway.
  3. Well thats a big fat lie. I'm not convinced my problem is these bushes to be honest. It's standard procedure to just buy bushes, press out the old and press in the new. It's a 1 hour labour job. I don't know why dealers say you need the whole arm. Well more labour changing them but still. It's got it's own part number and the dealer can very easily order them in.
  4. Another update, problem is still there. Ill be digging a bit deeper before I go and replace that bush above.
  5. Go to Toyota and get Toyota branded 5w30, 5L costs me £20...
  6. I'm an avid detailer but still haven;t got around to doing a proper detail on the LS with a correction. It's full of swirls :(
  7. Not sure if this is against the rules so feel free to delete. PM if you want these lower bushes for any LS430, I'm not going to bother installing them as my car is fine as it is. Also some people aren't even aware you can order just the bushes so proof you can, any mechanic will have a hydraulic press to push out the old one and install the new one. No need for new brackets. I'll put them on eBay sometime next week.
  8. Yes, you can ask the dealer to order just the bushes. Take the socket off, press out the bushes and press in the new ones.
  9. I ended up purchasing the steering rack bushes, anti roll bar bushes and the lower control arm bushes, the big ones. I replaced the roll bar and rack bushes and it's fixed my issue so yay! Will keep the lower control arm bushes to a side just in case, or if someone wants to make an offer on them then go nuts! Think they cost £85 + v at a dealer each.
  10. I'm on 85k @ 9 years old now. I believe it's due at 100k / x years? Whats the X ? ADL kit is £80 so will use that and waterpump will go for BGA as I always have good experiences. Had a look over the manual and some guides and it all looks like standard stuff to me? Also looks like theres plenty of room to get air gun down to the crank pulley so can't see any real issues.. Is there anything that I am likely missing or have missed that's leading me to believe it's just a straightforward typical timing belt job?
  11. Chuck in some dye. Good for tracking down coolant and oil leaks.
  12. Is yours out to? I hoping to have a 2 poster lift installed some point this or next week. Should make working on the car hell of a lot easier.
  13. With the starter motor job I'm obviously gonna need gaskets. I am trying to find out what that gasket on the back is, it looks like the water hose ones but can't find a part number of them. Car is an LS430 2004. Gonna have the starter rebuild aswell.
  14. Are you sure you guys weren't crabbing up the wrong street with the tyres business? I think the important thing here is to check for accident damage. My ls430 reads 63DB at 85MPH. My brothers Impreza is 87DB :o
