    I live Chigwell. I work all over Docklands and City at the moment as an engineer on computer based mailroom equipment. As from the 1st Oct I will be office based in Romford. Ive ordered my IS200 for collection on sat 27th Sept from Hadliegh. The reason im not using Woodford Lexus is that they wernt very helpful. Who do you work for and whereabouts are they???

    you can make 3 different size ones.the short one as shown,the first one i posted and one in between,just looked on pack its halfords own,its called a replacement styling whip,sounds like something you would use on ye wife :P The styling whip is a bit light..... I use the "Domination Whip" on my wife. From all good stores (and some rubbish ones!!).

    My brother has bought an S2000 from one of thease auctions. He had to spend a few quid getting it to pass the SVA test. 1 - Have the speedo changed to MPH 2 - Front lights changed 3 - Fog lights added Also sometimes the tyres need to be changed for UK spec.

    I have test drove an auto about 1 month ago which I enjoyed. But I want to drive a manual aswell. Also, the drive I had was about 10 mins round the block with a sales guy in north London. On Friday I will be doing test drive for a couple of hours on my own. Cant buy a 20k car after just 10 min test drive. I will be careful of the 40mph speed limit there :) , Eastwood has a few camaras about. BTW im from chigwell.

    Gap insurance is worth it for the extra £10-15 per month. If your car gets stolen the insurance will only offer you the price of the car when stolen. Gap insurance will bridge the amount to give you back what you paid for it. Its just an extra bit of insurance.

    Ive just recieved a call from my company. They have agreed to let me buy an IS200 with my company car allowance :) Whtas even better the car is on my name and I dont pay company car tax :) This means on friday I will be ordering a brand new IS200 SE in blue :P How long do you think it will take for my car to get delivered? I like the idea of parking sensors but are they colour coded? Also I have had a great deal on insurance with lexus, Should I get another qoute with my gold membership? Thanks.

    LOL...her idea of cleaning is the local BP carwash...ouch look at them scores on the paintwork... Mind you she will drive it when ive drunk too much :D

    yeah i am considering it.... The wife prefers the Blue, she rekons the stylish rear lights stand out a lot more... BTW am I under the thumb???

    Also im stuck on which colour to choose!! I cant decide between Platinum Ice and Strathcaron Blue. They both look really nice. im driving a 307 in silver at hte moment and im getting bored with the colour (everyone is getting silver nowadays)... The blue I really like but Ive seen about 10 IS200's and they all look differant shades. Is this because the blue fades or Lexus change the shade with each year make??
