  1. You also need to change thr filter which is easy enough the £50 is just the LPG service normal service costs on top.
  2. If you plan on keeping the car LPG is the best option unless you don't need to wory about the cost of fuel. My LPG service is only £50 once a year and just find a friendly garage that doesn't wory about LPG being fitted
  3. I had mine done at the wheel specialist at Leeds and they did a great Job and still look great 1 year on. I think the origional wheels look good on the car.
  4. If the bearing in the air con clutch has gone you will get the noise wether the ac is on or off. If the noise is only there when the ac is on then the noise is comming from the compressor.
  5. I would bite the bullet and do the pipes. At least you know it's right then. No point in having such a nice silent car and having to open the windows in summer to keep cool.
  6. Yes there won't be enough gas in and the pressure switch will stop the compressor running to prevent damage
  7. Sam the is a section in the manual for testing the pressure switch. It's not as simple as I thought but is very easy to follow. Plus did they recharge the refrigerant with the correct weight?
  8. Disconnect the plug and short out with a piece of wire to confirm your compressor is working ok. From memory the switch is at the front bumper area. Check its open circuit first with a multimeter.
  9. if its open circuit short it out and see if it runs. Sounds like your getting close to the problem.
  10. Did you see the post I put on about sgs engineering they made me stronger struts when they were replaced and have been better than before the others failed. There service is spot on.
  11. Just checked with the button pops up but does not open once past 1/2 way the struts take it to fully open without assistance
  12. Good question I have never tried I always press the button so always have hold of the lid I will try later.
  13. A bit out of phase with my posts here - something to do with going off half cocked about rust :) The strut idea sounds great Paul if you can post or PM the details I look at that - my boot lid keeps hitting my head and I am worried about damage (to the lid not me). Bad luck with the rust - good luck with the fix. Bren For gas struts google sgs engineering in derby they recharge struts or will supply new I got new boot struts for my 430 from them with a little extra pressure. They are happy to increase or decrease the pressure they put in and are very helpfull.
  14. They look spot on. I had mine done by the wheel specialists in Leeds they did a great jod
  15. Thanks for the offer but it won't affect mine as it a non premium pack car so doesn't have the rear fridge and cooling to the seats. I have had mixed sucsess in the past with areldite but if you go down that route get the pipework nice and clean and warm before you apply it.
