  2. pretty much, I have the Exide (although branded as a Deta) you just have to stick something under it to make it higher so you can clamp it down
  3. yea, so does mine and mine's an IS200 (sadly) it's one of the members from IS300.net/my.is whichever you like to call it!
  4. i very much doubt that as it probably just bolts into the end of the exhaust
  5. surely you're not comparing halfords generic seat covers to some leather ones you can get professionally made up???
  6. oops bumped by mistake, still, maybe someone online now will read it! :arrrggg-matey:
  7. I have no idea, just thought I remember him buying one and it wouldnt fit! could be totally wrong of course! i'll have a search
  8. I didnt think they would fit RHD cars? I think Fargo bought one a while ago and flogged it to some european guy from memory
  9. great thread! there are many many top blokes here on LOC and a couple more I can think of who don't post now due to various reasons which is a great shame (GRiM and Geoffers) over my time on LOC there have been many people who have helped me with various things but the two i'd single out are Matt and Mr Singh! as mentioned, on forums like this you always get the odd tit which is a shame, but, that's life! right, when's the next meet then (has to be a saturday or sunday tho!) :D
  10. it's only covers not the seats so I cant imagine postage being tooooo much, I was quoted $730 for two tone seats, piping and door inserts. So, I guess with shipping maybe like another $100 then tax on top you are still no where new 1k let alone £1,600 - however, if I get some i'd pick them up whilst I was over there and bring them back to avoid shipping and customs charges! Fargo is the best person to ask and advise as he has done the process before.
  11. yea they are new covers, from my understanding you remove the standard covers and then fit the new ones on with the hogrings that should come supplied with the covers, using soem hogring pliers. i think another member reccomended www.katzkin.com although I have no idea on their pricing or if they have the patterns already. have a look here for pricing I think (http://www.autoleathers.com/HTML2/AL.MAIN.FS.html)
  12. I was just gonna add, have you spoken to Alex? (JDMPartsGuru?) now, he's a top bloke! obviously though shipping would be a lot
  13. goodluck getting the car sorted out. so, who's gonna pm me and tell me who it is?
  14. I say get a nissan silvia s15 spec r (I wouldnt mind one)
  15. yea some gunmetal/dark multispoke rims would look the nutz
  16. those wheels ruin that skyline supra does look very nice indeed, anyone got some more pics?
  17. thats some top engrish from the seller! "IMPORT AND WAS REGISTER" "ALL MODE CON" "TECTONIC GEARS" "GREAT SOUND SYSTEM AND 6 CDS PLAYERS" yes indeed Am it does look like the Qualitat/Modellista? one from the wheels, kit, interior and badge on the grille not too keen on the interior or 'yellow' (gold) wheels
  18. that's where I got my spats from (Mark), seems like a top bloke. wouldn't mind some sideskirts!
  19. surely a company as large as Tein would have looked into this though? If HKS can you would think Tein would be able to! Seems wierd to me (but then I know f all about anything technical), is there nobody out there with quiet Teins???? (other than the CS)
  20. kind of off topic but how come the Teins are noisy and the HKS ones aren't? any ideas?
