Not so much difficult as extremely slow,the amount
of dismantling you have to do to get to it is the worst part.
I did not need a puller for the crank pulley it was loose enough
to pull by hand.A conventional puller will do it if stuck, you
don't need a special one.
Do not forget to loosen the crank pulley nut before you start.
Get someone to help you and mark bolts etc. as you remove them,
theres a lot.
I just replaced the timing belt and the serpentine belt,[61000 miles]cannot remember
exactly how much as I got new front rotors at the same time,allow about £200 .
I've only done about 4 timing belts on other cars and I was daunted by the size of it all.
However if you take your time and check as you go along,[make notes and digital photos
if you have to] you,ll be OK ,allow a full day to do it.
It will not be scarey for me next time!!
