After just 9K my Bridgestones have sever wear on the inner egde of all 4. I noticed this when I painted the calipers and need to buy 4 new ones. What's the average cost for a decent brand of tyre?

What's the difference between the Altezza and Lexus alloys? apart from the center logo.

Got any performance figures, how does it compare with the 210bhp? I bought mine through Bonsaicars and 3.5 isn't a very good rating really. I would go for at least 4, obviously the cost will probably go up but it is worth it. Service history is a good thing to look out for. And lastly be patient the right car will eventually come along I waited nearly 6 months and am chuffed with mine.

I will definately paint them but doing the calipers gold I didn't know if it would be too much having the same colour drum. And if you start there is no going back.

Just what are the problems with the corrosion on the wheels? I have heard only a few bad reports on the is200\Altezza's but one is the wheels. It seems that everyone one has probs. with them. Why can't the manafacturers sort it out. I know mine is a 99 but they should still be in pretty good condition!

Do you mean paint the drum gold aswell or just paint the drum

I'm about to paint mine and I got the paint from Motorspares. The brand name is SAVAGE. Obviously not sure on the finish til painted. They do a few different colours.

I am going to paint my calipers gold but do I paint all 4 or the front 2? And the when the back wheels are off you can see that the silver colour paint is showing surface rust.(don't know how to explain it but it's like a drum) Can you get touch up paint for this?

I'm getting my Altezza serviced at Hadleigh Suffolk, it's a 50K service and I wondered how much I should be paying There say £200 which I'm happy with but does that sound about right I haven't told them I'm a gold member would that make any difference

My Tezza is a 99 but being an import since 6 months ago they have started to go aswell so being in Japan hasn't made that much difference. At the rear when the wheels are off the drums which are silver are also showing signs of rust, where do I get the best touch up paint?

It seem's that over the last week or so I've seen a few IS 200's around my area. I just wondered if any of you are members of LOC. Especially a X reg dark blue ( I think, it was dark. ) passed me on the slip road close to Stow. tescos.I live in Stowmarket, Suffolk near Ipswich?

This is a bit of relief hearing the problems with other peoples probs. in the snow, I just thought it must be me, I got twenty yards and got stuck. I did turn trc off which helped the wife couldn't even get out of the drive this morning.

We got some in Suffolk over night, we have block paved roads around my estate and I had a nightmare even with snow engaged. The Missus is gutted as she is a snow freak and is working today she wouldn't normally work on Mondays. :P

This subject may well be a taboo one if so sorry but is there any football fans, players who be interested in footall fantasy league. A lot of you probably haven't the time but I however manage to find time to mess about in a few leagues. I know it will be a long way off but was wondering if anyone was into this kind of thing and if so would be interested in a LOC private league.

From what a mate tells me who knows a couple of guys with tvr's I wouldn't count on xmas dinner not getting cold as apparently they our mostly in the garage. Never mind though you will be able to tell us what you think of the lump under the bonnet.

I've had my car converted to miles instead of kms. but have still got the total kms. on my display. Is this right or will my log book clarify this somehow when I get it back Obviously it would be harder to sell on with the higher mileage displaying.Is there any way of converting back to miles

I believe that in japan there is no need for a rear fog light. Though to meet G.B spec. one of the boot lights is converted. Does anyone have the other light in the boot working i.e. as another fog or brake

I'm over the moon that' it's an Altezza or I wouldn't have waited for what seemed to be an eternity 4 it 2 arrive and I'll tell anyone and everyone that it is the RS200. However I just happen to prefer the IS 200 grille and badges. I do love the RS, honest. :)

I'm over the moon with the fact it is an Altezza that's why I imported it and I'll tell anyone and everyone. Though I do prefer the look of the grill and badges on the IS200. I've also had people tell me that the standard IS200 isn't very fast. So they may well be in for quite a surprise. I do love the RS200, honest. :)

When my log book comes through I want to change the square plates to the British type. I can't see much of a problem with the back plate but the front will only allow for a Jap. plate. I've read about having smaller fonts but does this mean all the letters/numbers will be horizontal ?
