  1. I have had all of this carpet out on my 93 LS400 to install all my I.C.E. you have to remove all plastic trim, centre console etc and round the doors. the carpet has clips underneath it that clip to the metal of the car. you need to remove the cover under the glovebox to remove the carpet as well. it does take some time, these cars were built well. 2. Looks more like a honda, had the prelude front end off the 93 style prelude, don't like it.... Bison :zee:

  7. Jobs a Good un...... Finally got my new bulbs in today, and removed the nasty looking yellow cover. was a time consuming job. which I had never attempted before so some trial and error involved. However it's now all done and I will be posting a full tutorial in the next few hours, probably in the general maintenance section of the LOC. Regards Bison :zee:
  8. thanks for the info mate, but really looking for 18" minimum, I really want 20" rims. Bison
  9. may be something to do with the throttle position sensor, you are at low revs at this speed (may need accelerator cable adjustment) pretty sure it's one of these things. As my 93 did it until me Lex mechanic gave it a good going over. they were some of the things he adjusted, seemed to work. Bison :zee:
  10. when you had them out did you happen to notice if the yellow can actually be removed or smashed out?? Bison :zee:
  11. Well said Steve, I also share your attitude and have used the links you have provided to download video footage, I have now created an Appeal Video using this footage in the hope it may push people to make a donation. All I need to do now is find a website to upload it to. Obviously I want people to see it. Any Ideas on where I can uplaod it? (It's about 6 mins long) Bison :zee:
  12. Do you have any sound at all? when you say booster do you mean the inline amplifier that powers the subwoofer? The best thing you can do is get rid of the pioneer stereo and fit an after market stereo. I have aftermarkets amp as well with new subwoofers in the boot of the car. I removed the standard subwooferand used this hole as a port. I srill use standard speaker system for mid range vocal and tweeters are standard also. Remember your sound system is 11yrs old now! Update it!! You will love the difference! Here is the wiring diagram you requested. You will need Adobe Reader to view it! Lexus LS400 Wiring Diagram Bison :zee:
  13. I mighbe intersted in a spare for my mk2, It's ok at the mo, but starting to fade. How do I go about getting one? and did you say they can be fitted? what are prices? Bison
  14. Ok that was slightly crazy and I do not agree with that on a road with oncoming traffic, but however when I had my Cossie I must admit I used to do a little bit of drifting, usually at the start of a "one way carriage" of a local bypass, with no oncoming traffic, i was very aware of others, which obviously this guy wasn't. I don't see any problem on deserted public roads as long as you are very aware of others and extremely cautious, at the end of the day you'll never stop it so instead teach people to be cautious instead of slag the off all the time (mudz you do this often don't ya?) Are you like a boring old git or something? No offence just wondered? Bison :zee:
  15. I take it you have an LS400, This is a common problem on this model, if the fluid is full and you have no leaks, then it is likely you will need a new pump etc. This can cost a lot of money, there is no point in buying second hand as you will have the same problems. Even if the fluid is slightly low you will still get a whining, they have to be spot on the level. Depending on how much you love the car and how long you want to keep it and how much money you want to spend on it, you could replace it, or you could just live with it. You could try to flush the fluid > Take a look here It is possible to re-build the power steering pump on the LS400, Detailed instructions and a photo-tutorial can be found here. hope this is of use to you. Bison :zee:
  16. One click here is the Answer to all your problems! Hope this helps matey! Bison :zee:

  23. Funnily enough my Girlfriends Dad has a 53 plate Veccy Gsi, Apart from on the corners theres not much in it on the straights. but I'll eat any smaller Vectras for breakfast.. Might change the car later in the year unless this is something serious, It's between a Soarer, a Supra a newer LS400 or a Volvo V70 T5? I do love the Volvos mind you they are mentally fast when chipped. Still theres lots of time to look around. P:S How do I check the Fluid level in the box? Bison :zee:
