Its usually:
Turn the key to the on position (do not switch the car on) only until the dash lights up, leave it like that for 6 mins, then switch it off, and start the car
Hi that button is for the volume for the alarm.
I must say your ls400 looks very nice and I see lex tek have looked after yours too, theyve done some work on mine too.
It does look slightly longer and different to the one on the right I had replaced. Lexus dont even sell them anymore, I was lucky in got the drivers side from them last year, I'll have to buy it from rockauto.
Hi guys
Hope your all well.
I had the drivers side inner and outer tie rod replaced early last year on my 99 ls400, and I want to replace the left side now
Is it true, the left inner tie rod is different to the right hand side? I'm looking online, and the left one seems longer.
My ls400 has lpg, I've had it converted myself back in 2018, and had the cambelt and waterpump replaced in 2020, bought the parts myself from lexus and had my local trustworthy garage do the work without any issues
I'm in the Midlands and had the work done at a garage called the mechanic in ward end, but lex tek in Sheffield can do the work too.
If I was to sell it, I'd rather sell it to an enthusiast, because I know he/she will look after it like I have, but if your interested, do let me know, knowing my luck, the gs460 will be sold, and in that case, I'd keep it
To be honest, I only wanted to sell it to buy the Gs460, but I drove the ls400 I think last week and it still put a smile on my face, so I'm not sure now lol
