  1. No worries. Stuart is fine by the way, only my mother calls me by both names. :-)
  2. I believe gold badges were an optional extra on earlier Lexus such as LS400 and GS300. Could be wrong tho Cool. Thanks.
  3. When I got my spare from Lexus it was a 3 buttoned master key :) I don't think the SportCross had a 3 button key as the boot is not remotely operated. If I'm wrong. . . Well, that would be odd?
  4. Panya, yes, I belive so. As I already have a master key, they will get an identical key and code it, so in effect, I will end up with two master keys. I don't mind paying the price quoted, at least I'll know it's done properly, I'll just mess it up. I may get a little bit more of a discount now I'm a Gold Member.
  5. I do indeed have the master key that they will use to code the new key. The labour to do the coding is only £51.00, the new key costs £112.30.
  6. Very nice and clean. A bit comfy'er than the Civic I guess?
  7. Got my price quotes from Lexus Cardiff for a new key and for it to be coded. £163.80 in total. Once the registration documents arrive, it'll be booked in.
  8. I do but its not gold Are you pulling my leg? My keyring isn't Gold? It's just a card keyring with my membership details on, same as everyone else's. I'm assuming so, anyway. I haven't paid extra and I don't think I'm getting any special extras for free. Besides, a gold keyring would be heavy and would swing and scratch the dashboard. Quite and yes I am Good I was starting to worry that you and sheerdrop were actually seeing a Gold Keyring in the picture. Oh, and if you ever get tired of having 4 Lexus' just bring one down to me ;-)
  9. It's been snowing intermittently all morning. Cleared snow off car at 6:00. Attempted roads. None gritted. That woke me up! Got back to the house and by 7:00 there was an inch of snow on the car and the tracks I'd made were nearly covered again
  10. I'm still astounded at the generosity and warmth of the members here.

  12. Lexmanic. As a gold member yourself, do you not have a Lexus card keyring?
  13. Got to advanced options when posting or replying. Add file should take you to your gallery. Click the picture you want and then add or upload pic. I use my Samsung Galaxy siii all the time. . . Sometimes the photos don't auto rotate. . .
  14. Welcome to the LOC. What year is your is250? Don't forget to share photos of the car.
  15. Any car with wide tyres suffers tramlining in the grooves the lorries dig on motorways. You know the ones always on the inside lane. Mine veers off to left then the right like its got a mind of its own Lol! Nothing to do with negative camber although still good advice to get the geometry set up checked. I sometimes wonder what we pay so much road tax for as it doesn't seem to go on improving the roads! Cheers Chris. Apologies for misunderstanding the actions of the car tram lining/negative camber. So is it just the width of the tyre that can sometimes cause the car to pull without much other reason? Stuart.
  16. Very nice. I think there's thread about negative camber thread somewhere. It may be a relatively common problem with the is200. There's a place called Wheels In Motion. The other thread has loads of info.
  17. Welcome to the LOC. As long as she's been serviced regularily, mileage shouldn't be too much of a problem.
  18. Is the engine okay? Bumper bonnet and headlights sounds like quite a bump? You okay?
  19. Congrats on moving abroad. With the development of the is' s. The older ones are going to be just as cheap elsewhere. If once you've moved, the is is still the car of choice, you should be able to pick up a like for like for a reasonable price, no worries with importing and registering. (Hopefully)
  20. I WANT YOUR KEYRING, where pray can I get one of these awesome things? Aha. This is the Lexus Owners Club Gold Membership Keyring. £49.95 maybe a litttle expensive for a keyring, but then again, it is a Lexus keyring
  21. Yeah, I did see the post. Once my registration documents come back, I'll be booking it into Lexus Cardiff to get some more keys cut and programmed. It just makes sense to have the spare key and to get it done properly.
