  1. I agree with Lexmaniac. It may seem like a big hit for the whole gubbins, but my may be able to get something back from selling the rest on.
  2. Someone will know, but not me. Sorry. Welcome to the LOC by the way.
  3. What evil bastards! A wing mirror cover? Nothing else was taken I hope?
  4. Further to small stupid problems. I've somehow sheared one of the screwheads that holds the number plate in place. Are these easy to find and fit? I.e. Halfords?
  5. Sorry Chris. I was sort of agreeing with you, sort of peddling my sob story. Hopefully it is something stupid like the battery.
  6. I had new battery fitted after I woke up to a dead car less than 24 hours after I bought it. And it's been fine ever since. When it doesn't start, it's not like it's turning over for ages and not firing, it's me releasing the key too early thinking I've heard the engine fire up, when it hasn't
  7. True. And you're right, other garages will do the same job for less money, but this is my first Lexus and I like the idea of having looked after by Lexus while I own it.
  8. That's okaythen. I may try the V power as well then. . . As long as I can get nectar points.
  9. Silly question, but where would you use it? Is it an oil? I did the Forte gas treatment to clean the engine last week. It's a little smokey, not sure if the catalytic converters are on their way out.
  10. Dan & Chris. Thank you. I think that being able to pay for the service over the course of a couple of months is a reassuring idea. Dan, did you go with the sytner plan, or did you just pay for the service?
  11. Similar issues, but I found that 'I think its fired up' and release the key and find that it hasn't started and requires a second attempt. I thinks its just a matter of getting used to the car. He says *(fingers crossed)*
  12. I am tempted to pay for the Sytner Service plan, but with talk with Natalie on Monday to see what the differences are.
  13. Welcome to the site. I hope you find a buyer and get s good price for her. Strangely, I got our is200 SportCross becsuse my wife and I are trying for a baby, though the previous car was a Corsa.
  14. Hi guys. I've just received my quotes through from Lexus Cardiff for the Service Plan. Does anybody else use this facility? Also, my registration document arrived today. The number of former keepers, does that include the previous keeper named? So if it says No. OF FORMER KEEPERS 4 Is that in total, making me number 5? Or is it former keepers plus the named guy, making me number 6?
  15. Indeed. Welcome to LOC. Hopefully it will be a small problem and easy to fix.
  16. You've had quite a few views and no replies, so I'll be the first to say sorry, I don't know. I'm assuming the others don't know either. I hope someone is able to help and that you get the car running properly again. Stuart
  17. Hehehe. No worries, but thought ' I'd better not takd credit for that car '
  18. Steve, your comment gave me an early morning smile!!! Welcome Stuart, nice motor. Super wheels! Hi Geoff. Not my car or wheels. I was replying to Dee's post and it copied her picture of the wheels. I've got a gold SportCross.
  19. Nice. The hydraulic suspension looks good too. Nice clean car.
  20. So, do you keep it on the bbs rims now?
  21. Are they Merc AMG wheels in the first photo? Nice looking car. Welcome to the LOC.
  22. There are quite a few on sale through autotrader and ebay under a grand, but not at that mileage. You're right about getting the bargain though.
