  1. Afternoon All, I didn't get time to send any of these out on Saturday I'm afraid! Been a bit hectic with other things, but hoping to get a bit more time to start sending stuff out this coming Saturday. I have 3 sets in my possession at the moment, and I think I have addresses for each of you. Northern Dan has kindly volunteered to be the delayed order, so will be collecting his set from a buddy in California in early December, and sending them out to him when I get back. For the 3 I can send, how are you guys looking to pay for shipping costs? If it's bank transfer, I can do it from my personal car account, if PayPal, easier if you send that back to the Wife (I don't do PayPal)..... Let me know so I can charge to the right bank account my end! Do any of you have any issues with me adding £10 to each order to cover the increased shipping and packaging costs? If so, PM if preferred to discuss. Should be able to find some suitable boxes before Saturday, and plenty of newspaper/bubblewrap to make sure everything is well protected. Cheers for now. Pete
  2. I’d love a proper F meet, be great to get a load of us together, good idea! Be nice for folks to see the car in person as well, rather than just reading about it or seeing photos. Liking the idea a lot Ratty!
  3. Hi, 625hp at the flywheel is the target, cost is around £10k, that’s kit price, shipping, import duty, VAT and labour for the install.
  4. Hey Matt, Sorry, I wasn’t very clear in my post, Lee and the guys will be carrying on with the install on Monday, still not sure when I will be picking it up, but doubtful it’ll be Monday. Lee also has a bedding in process to follow for the supercharger, plus the Project Mu pads and discs need bedding in as well. I’m thinking Wednesday, but will depend how things go. The radar cruise control box is a big hurdle for us. Can’t stay behind the top grill, can’t go anywhere else where it would function properly.... probably going to bin it, but will need to see what error codes and CEL’s that generates, then ask Rafi to revise the tune so it works without looking like a Xmas tree!
  5. Cheers Matt. No, just asked Lee that funnily enough! Will be picking up again first thing Monday morning. Just have to enjoy borrowing the wife’s Juke Nismo RS till it’s finished!
  6. Not half Big Rat, can’t wait to have this done and back on the road. Got to be patient though, Lee and the guys are doing an amazing job getting things spot on, will be worth the wait! Shouldn't cause any issues having those bits in front of the radiator. If you look at a lot of high power turbo’d cars, they also have the same setup with FMIC, coolers etc in front of the radiator. The air will still reach the rad, just through the fins of the other coolers. Considering there are guys running this setup in California where it’s always sunny and hot, doubt gloomy, wet, cold England will cause it any issues! Lol. I already have an agreed value policy on mine. Have to declare all my modifications, but get like for like or replacement value for everything. Things like the wheels and rear carbon diffuser are now discontinued, hence needing good cover just in case something bad happens.
  7. So more progress photos from Lee at SRD. Auxiliary pulley assembly turned up, so they’ve done a load of stuff today! I was shocked when I saw these, really impressed with what’s been achieved. Still work to be done, but damn! Well done guys, super impressed.
  8. Thanks David. So fortunately RR-Racing have put together quite a comprehensive installation guide document they send out with the kit. It's a work in progress for them, as they make changes to it as they receive more feedback from the buyers/installers. The Yanks actually put us to shame when it comes to tackling things like this themselves! Most kits sold in the States were actually fitted by the buyers/owners in their own garages! Probably the reason why no one has addressed the weak/poor recommendation to attach the gearbox cooler to the brake ducting, as they wouldn't necessarily see the issue with it. SRD are therefore helping me to report back to RR-Racing/Simon & Rafi with any further feedback or suggestions they should consider for future kits. I am indeed eager to get back behind the wheel, but will happily bide my time for the sake of allowing Lee and his team to get things right. The failed auxiliary pulley was an unexpected and frankly annoying delay, but Lee and the guys have been working away on other areas whilst they wait for the new pulley to arrive. Should be amazing once it's done though.
  9. Thanks David. I'll be sure to let Simon and Rafi know, agree it seemed a little iffy to me as well! No, the cooler pictured is for the gearbox. I have a second cooler that's probably sitting alongside this one for engine oil, but that is in addition to the factory water cooled one. I could in theory delete the OEM oil cooler, but don't see any harm in beefing up the cooling side of things to help with the added performance etc. Cheers. Pete
  10. Morning All. Quick update, gearbox oil cooler is now fitted. Guys at SRD weren’t happy with how it was supposed to bolt to the flimsy brake ducts, so they fabricated some proper brackets for it. The FMIC is also now fitted with the crash bar modified to accommodate same. Auxiliary pulley didn’t show up yesterday, but should be with the guys today hopefully. More progress and photos to follow.
  11. Cheers guys, it’s getting there, can’t wait to drive it! Should be a lot of fun!
  12. In preparation for the increase in power I decided to upgrade my brakes as well. Project Mu slotted discs and pads. Also new brake lines and Endless fluid with new OEM shims as well to complete the package.
  13. Day two saw some mock up by SRD. They can’t fit the supercharger bracket or blower until they change out the broken auxiliary pulley. Hoping that shows up at some point today!
  14. Morning All, As suggested, thought I’d start a new thread to document the progress by SRD on my supercharger install. Hoping they receive the replacement auxiliary pulley today, as it’s holding things up! I won’t try posting the video of the knackered pulley again, but here are photos from day one, mostly stripping everything down, with one of the two new coolers fitted, and the rather lovely ATI custom harmonic crank damper pulley.
  15. Cheers Mark. As I said before, really do think Lee and his team at SRD are brilliant when it comes to this stuff. The level of communication is second to none, don't get this level of involvement from Lexus, but they do keep me posted on and off throughout the process, and photograph/film bits for me as well. I was really pleased with the work they did yesterday, got a fair bit done as the photos can testify. Just hoping they have another solid day on it today as well. Doubtful it'll be finished by the weekend, but I can dream! Lol.
  16. Cheers Chaps, hopefully they have another productive day on it today. The auxiliary pulley takes 2 days to arrive, but they have loads to be getting on with in the meantime, so just keeping everything crossed it's a good day with no more unwelcome suprises! Lol. I'll frighten you all with some progress pictures Lee sent me last night.
  17. Auxiliary belt tensioner is toast! Another £200 odd plus VAT I hadn’t budgeted for! Just got to hope there aren’t too many more issues like this one, budget is looking tight already!
  18. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/790697-my-build-thread-from-across-the-pond-12.html
  19. So got this from Lee today, not good! Could have been worse, but added cost I could really do without to be honest! D2946217-B991-4270-9397-9FDFA7A677ED.MP4
  20. Doubt that'll fit under my vented carbon bonnet! Lol. Thing of beauty though!
  21. It's West Sussex, so not too bad........ Correct. PPE headers, RR-Racing tuned intake, RR-Racing remap to suit. Not bad gains considering. Be fun to see if the supercharger kit makes the numbers it claims (625whp). So we are looking to gain another 150.9!
  22. Thanks David. Car made 474.1hp at the flywheel this morning. That's a gain of 56hp from the last run on the same dyno etc. Lee and the guys will hopefully have started the supercharger install when they got it back from the dyno. Nice thing for next year will be a dyno actually at SRD, so we can maybe do another rolling road day over there? Be nice to see a few F's on the rollers, good fun seeing how they do I find. Think they were a little frightened at the sheer scale of parts involved, but I think they'll get over it once they get stuck in. Hope so anyway! Lol.
  23. Thanks, received and replied. Thanks Dan. Sent you a PM as well. We are one short unfortunately, Simon was very apologetic. As per my PM, I head back to the States in early December for work, so can collect and bring yours back with me if that's ok? Let me know. Cheers Matt. Will text back now, was a bit hectic yesterday getting my car and all the stuff over to SRD! It's back on the dyno first thing today to see what difference the PPE headers, tuned intake and remap made. Then they are due to start fitting the blower and supporting mods!
  24. Morning All, So just got the last box of three from RR-Racing this morning! Just checking I got everything I needed for the s/c install, plus the bits for you lot. Appears like I have 4 sets of USRS plus the two camber arms for Etienne, does that stack up with orders placed? Only ask as I got 5 sets of instructions?! Will ask each of you to PM me your address details unless you plan to collect in person, know Matt mentioned he’d do it that way. I’ll need to get them boxed up for you this week, and hopefully up to the Post Office on Saturday morning. Cheers one and all. Pete
