    Went this afternoon to get my tyres fitted and apparently cartyres. com got new system so no tyres were ordered by Halfords, so going in again on Thursday now Halfords gonna order them.

    Just ordered Avon zv7 for rear getting fitted on monday at Halfords lot cheaper on cartyres. com at 86.99 each.

    Had this type on my is220d lexus ripped me off, is250 got different ones on it.havnt had time to try them, raining and trying to sort my rear brakes out.

    Ok thanks will keep an eye on it drove Stansted @ back no smell maybe it was raining cooled them down.

    Ok thanks it's a mobile mechanic never had that before grinding just to bed in.unless fitted wrong but ordered from lexus Birmingham already get them fitted and see if they grind. I always used original brake pads and discs on my mercs no problem.blueprint is a recognised name but could be bad batch used in past no problems

    Ok that explains wear in coating but doesn't explain grinding as my old ones didn't do that even they were worn badly. diffently not right with pads and discs order from ebay original from lexus Birmingham will get them fitted next week, try to get refund on blueprint ones.just drove to Stansted today and back still same, shouldn't of bedded in by now it's been 4 days and residue shouldn't have gone by now.its really annoying when something is not right.every car I ever owned made sure it was looked after properly no expense spared.

    No smell any more now cancel appt lexus will drive for a while @ will c. maybe it was me

    Everytime brake get slight grinding noise and there is lot of pad residue on discs in just 2 days. lexus done front ones no residue on discs after 4.5k still brand new. Could discs pads b faulty or can be fitted wrong???? Adjustment of handbrake make pads grind??????

    Just received clips this morning look different to actual pic but as long they fit not bothered. covers think look nice but think it's to keep rubbish off road which keeps engine clean and with so much electrics on cars these days keep water away from them too.

    Never drive like madman, when braking seems like it's not stopping had similar problem with is220d seem only 1 side. see what lexus find on Tues

    Notice on pads got silver strip but only on 1 side. Any 1 know why see pictures.

    Just noticed today car front brakes on right side giving a smell. booked with lexus Woodford for next week. could it be siezed calipers?????? got warranty until Feb so will b ok

    Just had pads discs done (£78 discs and pads, labour £40) today, blueprint pads comes with shims which are black, was it necessary to use shims that came off old ones????? mechanic said never use old ones anyway as blueprint comes on them u only use old shims if u buy cheaper pads. is this correct???!

    There are same as ones on amazon for £1.50 for 10 it's same part numbers.

    Thanks guys they are cheaper then ebay,just ordered these. they are rubbish design break very easily, remember I paid £20 when had is220d from lexus Woodford got ripped off properly.

    I got rear pads and discs blueprint for £78.00 from t j in Ilford, I know it's too far for u but they do free p@ p also ordered air filter @ pollen filter also blueprint for £14.00 from euro parts 25% off still working out expense

    Think it's been covered before but Any1 got part no or link from ebay for is250 engine cover clips gonna change air filter. some are missing some won't clip in place now.due to taking them off loads of times don't clip after a while, last time bought for is220d from lexus got ripped off.thanks guys

    Quite possibly but I remember when had my is220d enquired about mats told me £100 but now don't really need as car came with original ones.

    Lexus Woodford are doing mat set for £50.00 if anyone is interested normally I think they are £100, as I'm registered on their database must b for Is range. only available until 30/11/16

    I do feel sorry for u mate Had 1 on 2006 dpf blocked, front calipers replaced, new gearbox (under warranty) soon picked car up from Preston used to jump out of gear from 2nd, dmf noisy, wheel did start to flake too. apart from that not bad car to drive, sold on 91k due to doing only local miles got is250, much better car. get rid of it go for is250.

    My cousin work for t j autos Ilford got very good deal for me. £77.00 blueprint discs and pads. can't get any cheaper then that, im well happy.they are cheaper then ebay sometimes, they deliver any where

    Thanks guys blueprint is then as they diffently need replacing now for £96 complete pads,discs good price lexus charge Birmingham £150.

    Yesterday lexus Birmingham doing complete set for £135 now put price upto £150 asked if I can get for £135 was told "sorry no".blue print complete set 115, if buy discs (£72) and pads (23.88) separate work out £96 for blueprint. if bought complete set should b cheaper. lexus official store even more expensive. has any1 used blueprint rear pads and discs???

    When I bought my car it had 1 too as it's bit pricey for a rubber mat
