  1. Went away over the weekend and found the radio would not pick up stations - when it did the quality was poor. I was in lancs area so not out in the sticks. Has anyone else had this problem? Seems to be OK in Midlands so suppose it could have been a weak area. I've removed antenna, cleaned it and added some anti sieze compound.
  2. I've just used mine on 400 mile round trip and have averaged 58mpg. Was at one point averaging 63mpg but decided to put my foot down due to some traffic which held me up. Must say the cruise control I fitted helped me achieve this by keeping a steady speed. Great car though and am beginning to enjoy driving again
  3. Doesn't list CT 200h in dropdown. They are however ILKAR7B11 same as Prius.
  4. SC20HR11 are stated in handbook ( Iridium ). It also states to ONLY use iridium tipped plugs. They are standard.
  5. I can use mine, just cannot download phone book, so have added key contact manually & tagged. Works fine.
  6. Does anyone know if CT comes fitted with Iridium plugs as standard? Other than taking one out and having a look, just wondered if anyone knew. Thanks.
  7. I use mine as you say in road works ( e.g. on motorway and speed limit reduced due to road works ) & normal dual carriageway driving. Adaptive cruise is expensive to fit & add as an option but it is better than standard cruise. I just use the + & - on switch to adjust my speed if I need to. Well worth the £125 in parts, plus will hopefully add a bit of value when I come to sell.
  8. Fitted mine over the weekend & works fine. £125 & 30 mins to fit. I find it strange the way the display on the cluster defaults to a blank screen when setting cruise control. Wonder if this can be changed to display set MPH or not default??
  9. Good info - Thanks. Do you know if there are any additional cruise control settings regarding instrument display? Also, can you access parking assist warning volume?
  10. Just fitted cruise control today - took me 30 mins. Parts cost £125. Works as expected.
  11. Read in owners manual that front rear parking assist volume can be adjusted but only by dealer. Mine went in today for some other work & asked them to have a look - they have found deep in diagnostic software that it can be adjusted. Mine has now been increased in volume. Just thought I'd let everyone know it is adjustable if you find it too quiet.
  12. Update Most of the niggles I had last week are not as annoying as I first experienced. Had a good ride out over the weekend & can only now list the following as minor issues:- No lumbar support in driver seat Small fuel tank ( 9.9 gallons - inc 1.5 gallon reserve ). Arm rests in incorrect positions ( Console & door ). Audio screen difficult to see in sunlight ( my poor eyesight doesn't help ). That's it! Had a good ride out yesterday & averaged 55mpg. Was showing 85mpg at one point following a reset. Not fitted Cruise control yet ( still waiting for parts ) & will look at spare wheel later in year.
  13. Hi all, Tried the info on Thread 9 - and it worked. I also left personal hotspot switched on. Thanks for the replies.
  14. Hi Mark, Can't help with the DAB question as I don't have it in mine, however, it should display all that info - after all it is Digital Audio. Have you tried pressing TEXT button? Be good to hear your thoughts on certain aspects of the car. I have a 2011 model, but don't think much has changed up to 2013 model. If you look at my original post, I have listed a few negatives. Would be good to know if it's just me being over critical or they are common issues. I am starting to love mine ( only picked it up last week ) and think it is one of those cars it takes a few trips out to get used to it. Good choice of car!
  15. It's on my list.........Thanks.
  16. I bought the car as I liked the style, hybrid system & Lexus brand. I could list more faults with other makes of vehicle, but just wanted to point out some minor issues. These do not mean I dislike the car at all. I will be retro fitting cruise control over the next few weeks also.
  17. Tried connecting iphone with hotspot switched on & no difference. Will not upload phone book or make outgoing calls. Pretty poor for a Lexus. Looks like a trip to dealer to sort it out.
  18. I'm pretty sure I will get used to all the minor issues I'm experiencing. Still can't use Bluetooth system with my iPhone though. It appears to connect but can't make outgoing calls. System says " not linked" although phone tells me its connected. This will frustrate me if it can't be sorted out. Will visit my local dealer within next few days to see what I'm doing wrong.
  19. I have worked at Toyota and unfortunately they do not road test their vehicles for Squeaks and rattles. They rely on part design to eliminate. I'm sure Lexus are the same. I have been to Toyota Japan and can confirm no road test existed. I now work at Jaguar and ALL cars are tested on a squeak & rattle road prior to leaving the plant.
  20. Just been advised through owners section of Lexus site, that for the iphone 4s to work correctly on CT 200h bluetooth, you need to have Personal hotspot switched on. Will try this later when back in car.......
  21. Guys, Appreciate the replies & help......... I had already found the glasses box in overhead console, unfortunately my Oakley sunglasses do not fit in. Will have to wait before spending £350 on adding extra's which should really come as standard. Also had an issue with some paint repairs dealer had done. Repair was poor & had also added some new damage. They have offered to rectify or pay for it though. My mpg at the moment is hovering around 49 -52 mpg. Not bad, but should improve the more I get used to driving it.
  22. Picked up my CT SE-L (2011 ) yesterday and my first impressions are as follows:- For Styling. Has a good road presence. Build quality. As expected - its a Lexus. Boot space is good for compact hybrid. Fuel consumption. 56 mpg on A roads. Against No cruise control as standard. No remote entry. Harsh ride. Road noise Lack off interior storage ( CDs, glasses etc ). No space saver wheel. Exterior temp readout too small. USB socket. Unable to close lid when connected. Glovebox very small. Unable to load contacts from iPhone to BT system. As you can see I'm not too impressed at the moment. Some of the niggles I will get used to but thought I'd publish my first thoughts. Will post another in a few weeks. Cheers, Adam.
  23. Could you please publish some part numbers - I would like to add to mine after I pick it up next week. Thanks
  24. I haven't picked up yet ( next weekend due to some work I wanted done on it first ) so can't comment. I did test drive it & thought how refined it was with excellent build quality. It has front & rear parking sensors ( audible warning though is too quiet in my opinion ) but no cruise control, which surprised me. It will take a bit of getting used to to get the optimum mpg out of it, but all in all appears to be a nice car. I will report back a couple of weeks on from picking it up.
  25. Just done a search & found the answer.........
