Welcome Sportster, My 200 still has the clunk after 19000 miles, but unfortunately is now out of warranty. The person i bought it off obviously didnt notice it and had nothing done!! Only plus point is that after a while you alter your driving stlye so as you dont get it, although seeing as it is new, use that warranty. Nice to see a member from my neck of the woods!!

I am in the same stiuation, my 2000 sport has only done 19K but just been told it needs a 40K service, as now 4 years old. £400 quid for this service seems a bit of a con for the mileage. Unsure what to do

Gutted!!!! I had the only Lex on the estate until the new neighbours moved in. He has a plat ice 200 sport just like mine

I got some with mine. My car is Plat ice but the paint looked green though. Fortunately, not had to open it yet

Does anyone know if K&N do a 57i induction kit for the 200 and a rough cost? I think i read something on it but not sure. Been on demon tweeks site but no mention of it Cheers

Just on the oil situation, mine has always had mobil 1 in it. I have heard that once it has had it in you can never put any other brand of oil in. is this correct? If so, can anone reccommend a good place to buy it from so i can supply it myself

Why even bother with beemers when lexi are about. I love the dash in mine. I feel it breaks the mould from all those similar looking dashes

Just been given 3 prices for a 40K service Leics £368 Notts £360 Hanley £280 All are inc vat but are subject to gold discount Why do they vary so much? Anyone else had any experiences like this? Hanley looks quite good at the moment is this anything to do with you Mr Shipley???

Does anyone know the difference between the 20 and 40 K service in regards to what is done and also a rough price??

My sport is coming up to its 4th birthday in March. However it has only done 18000 miles. The person I bought it off had it serviced every year so as to keep up the warranty regardless of what mileage had been done, but now it is out of warranty i can't see the point of doing it regardless. So, ive decided to get it done at 20000 but im confused as the service book says it has already had it's 20000 service. Does this mean i will need to pay for a 40000 mile service even though it will have done 20000 and quite clearly the car not needing a 40K service If you can decifer this, then what would you do???? Help apprieciated chaps and chapasses

Only had my IS about a month now and already realised the dipped headlights are not too clever. Can any-one reccomend any upgraded bulbs?
