    Im now more confused and annoyed -.-. Subwoofer I have does not fit nicely and snugly into the car. So that rules out outting that subwoofer in. Now i need to pull the seats out and check the existing one to see why no bass is actually coming out of it. Will keep you posted with anything i find out ;-)

    I bought a Road Angel Gem + last week, and i want to hard wire it in but no idea how as everything involve removing panels around the dash. Any one done it before and maybe want to write a how-to? :-P

    I think the subwoofer has blown in my IS-F. There is no bass at all, not even a single drum note. Went to an audio fitter today, has said he can install my subwoofer. So instead of replacing the Mark Levinson subwoofer.... I am just going to install the one i have from my previous car.

    I wanted to Hardwire it in but have no idea where or how. If you have any insider tips on where to hardwire it send me a PM or post it here if it is allowed.

    Orange in pictures always looks worse. I had a reddish/orange in my previous car and they look tremendous in person. How much did the tyres set you back Peter?

    I can give him the money before he buys them, in my case i'm not to fussed about when i give the money. Pete can choose and whoever wants one puts the money in his account before he pays for them

    umm, but everyone i have heard has always said it is very hard to get more power out of the IS-F than what it already has. What can they possibly do to make it faster?

    It is a subwoofer though, i can assure you. It may have inbuilt amps but also has subwoofers inside.

    I agree with the after market DRLs. They would look tacky. It's a shame that they never left a way to fit new lights. I guess I will have to spend my money on something else lol

    I understand and what you say makes sense. But maybe my simple mind is confused. Surely it is just a software update that is required to make these work as what would have changed between the 2010 and 2011 model?

    Do you know the reason why the AFS light will turn on and what functionality would be lost?

    I have done a little search and could not find anything so thought I would ask here. From 2011 onwards Lexus put DRLs on the IS-F's. The model I have is 2010. The questions is, is it possible to buy 2011 Light cluster and plug and play into 2010 model?

    I am also at a lost of which is the best brakes to get if they need replacing. I guess there will be someone who has tried a few brands and can possible give some really good advice

    That sounds like a job for someone who knows there stuff. As much as I like getting my hands dirty I always worry I'll break something, or a clip

    I would also put my name down for a group buy if needed. That way just batch buy a few and everyone can look smart with the pouch

    So ended up going Japfest yesterday. Only IS-F at the show. I can only say I got a few looks at the car. Shame there wasn't more Lexus's there that day

    In my previous car I had a Pioneer subwoofer, very discreet and also very good at adding some bass. http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/archive/TS-WX77A/page.html I took it out if the previous car and thought the the Mark Levinson sound system would be good for bass. After a few drives the clarity of the music is very good but it lacks the rhino of some bass. A quick look in the boot shows what looks like an AMP. Has anyone here got any experience with sound systems in the IS-F as although not a necessity it would be nice to have the pioneer sub in the car.

    I don't know the proper colour name but it looks like a pearl white. And I have already fallen in love with it but now every time I drive it I get home paranoid I have passed a speed camera and not realised. I hope there is other that have this slight "problem" and it is not just me

    August will be difficult. Will be on holiday going to Spain driving the beast all the way. So I have already started saving for the petrol ha!
